Dr Horace Wobblehead? Did I hear that right? In "Unseen Academicals" the description says: the librarian made sure no one could find out his name (destroyed all the books where it was written down) so they could not change him back as he was fine with his new shape. Besides no on remembered his name in UU. :) ;)

Most of the wizards in the faculty who knew his name got turned to stone at the end of Sorcery if memory serves me correctly. So by the time Ridcully took over as Arch Chancellor in Moving Pictures, he’d already been an orangutan for a long time.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is the same man who played the librarian in Sky's adaptation of The Hogfather, and Tim Curry's character refers to him as 'horace' in that. Not sure if it was a Pratchett-approved addition to the canon or not...

Hi, there. Why haven't the major network's taken these up, in modern times. I know that channel 4 did some in the early days via a production company. This is has good as star wars and the worst witch if not *mustard* 6 out of 2. I heartily recommend this that's my highest mark... I have got so many books and audio CDs plus 3 on audio tape the shortened version's of 3 and bit hour's.. I know the cartoons are old, but still enjoyable...G...

Could have been funnier. I remember seeing this on the "The Color of Magic" TV adaptation, which like this, could have been better. Of the three movies done so far, only "Going Postal" was proper in all ways Discworld with the character appearances, location designs, acting and humor. "CoM" and "Hogfather" were a bit lackluster in overall feel to everything, even with Terry's involvement. Also, having Sean Austin play Two Flower didn't make sense considering the character was meant to be oriental, not an American-like tourist with glasses.
