After Mirabel pointed out that Alma herself was the source of the cracks the casita collapsed Mirabel got to the candle and protected it has the building collapsed around her but it was too late the flame died. Mirabel saw how broken the realization mad her grandmother and was afraid that she was going to get blamed she ran away. To the exact spot where Alma watch her husband be killed and the miracle was born. To heal Alma had to face the past.

The part when Bruno says “you are the real gift, kid. Let us in” and Abuela says “abre los ojos, what do you see?” It hits like a final realization that while she has been admiring them from afar, they had finally seen her for who she is, gift or not. And they want her to see she is just as special as the rest of the family. Made me cry. Reminded me of my own abuela’s words when she saw me being too hard on myself for not being “perfect”

Without going into spoilers (for anyone who hasn't see the movie), the doorknob is a MAJOR symbol of togetherness and family in the Madrigal's. You gain your powers (and essentially have your first coming of age) when you touch the doorknob of your room. When Mirable did this, her door disappeared, and she was stuck in the nursery with the babies, never being seen as a full member of the family. And here she is, being given not only a doorknob, but the knob that opens the entire house. She brought the family together, so they give to her the honor of bringing them into their new home.

I love the relationship between Mirabel and Antonio. There is a scene where Mirabel is supporting Antonio when he gets his gift and I love seeing Antonia supporting Mirabel when she goes to open the door to the rebuilt Casita.

This song being right after "Dos Oruguitas" in the movie was not a good idea. I was crying with abuela's story and then it comes this part and then it started to rain in my face. Yes, I cried like a baby at this movie and I'm a whole grown up woman

I'm a grown man and I was sobbing a lot throughout this movie. It is so emotional. And though there are a few obvious moments (like during Dos Oruguitas), there were a few that made my eyes wet that I don't see too often in the reactions. When Bruno comes to rescue Mirabel from abuela to take the blame on himself and abuela brakes his speech with a short "Brunito" (to those not knowing anything about Spanish, it's a diminutive), with all the love in her voice... Most people are still in the comic relief state, for me it was again going over the edge. But the strongest moments are during this song. First, when abuela leads Bruno back to the family and the sheer joy of the other triplets, then when villagers come to help and Antonio says "I think it's everyone in town", finally when Bruno and Antonio sing "We need a doorknob", "We made this one for you" and one last straw that breaks the camel's back is when abuela tells "Abre los ojos. Open your eyes. What do you see" and Mirabel answers "I see... me. All of me". That hit home and it hit hard. I was just crying there and couldn't stop. It was the final moment that not only the entire family accepted Mirabel as being equal to the , gift or no gift, but also Mirabel really fully acknowledging that she is special the way she is. We all long to get in terms with ourselves and we can't be really, truly happy until we do that. I wish everyone to find their ways and accept them as they are, not trying to adapt, to please others or to fulfill their own false imagination of themselves.

Since you haven't watched it yet, this number will hit you harder after you watch it. The doors in the house represented each persons powers, and Mirabel never got her door. So when the family built her a door nob and let her open the door to their home, it was an amazing moment. I hope you get to watch it soon if you haven't already!

What happened is that right after what else can I do the confrontation between Mirabel and Alma happens. Alma accuses Mirabel of ruining the family but Mirabel turns it on to her by bringing up Bruno and saying he loves this family I love this family. And then she says this: The reason the miracle is dying is because of you. Mirabel finds the real reason and the magical house starts to crack. Mirabel Isabella and Camilo all race to the candle Isabella loses her gift and then Camilo Mirabel grabs the candle right has Bruno’s tower falls on to her. With the last of it magic the house protects Mirabel as it collapses on her. This leads into Mirabel running away and Alma finds her in the one place she had been afraid of which dos ouruitius happens and Bruno reunites with his mother

A little thing about the kid and his coffee: coffee is a Columbian staple, so I wouldn't be surprised if kids got to drink it on special occasions...and that kid just loves it so much he sneaks it in whenever he gets a chance, lol.

I know Im a little late, but too any references that may have been misunderstood, Bruno was concerned since Pepa controls the weather through her emotions and Bruno knew how her sister would be and that she as a normal bride would have wedding day jitters, so he wanted her to calm down or there would be rain on her wedding day, so that filled her mind with that there is going to be rain so she was already nervous now she has to stay calm and control her emotions that it all came out and the rain turned to a hurricane, but he wanted her to be herself, stop holding on to her emotions, dont control, and let it go. Its ok there was a hurricane, its fine, you just be happy. Now after losing their powers, Luisa needs help to lift up heavy things, Isabela would have to grow flowers normally with sunlight, water and fertilizer, Agustin is ok that Julieta cannot heal him from the bee sting, and that dolores can now sing on the top of her lungs without the sound being too harmful to her eyes, her first time being loud. Although in the end they get their powers back without any limits or expectations, I just feel like Dolores is the only one that still has the negative affects with her sensitive hearing. In the end, Isabela is not perfect and can grow any type of vegetation, luisa can relax for once, Dolores gets Mariano, and Mirabel will become the next Abuela. Love this movie, Not just for kids, but adults can see themselves in each or every character.

Yeah so...you gotta watch the movie...but SPOILERS AHEAD. So, this is at a point in the movie when the candle has gone out, but Mirabel and Abuela have resolved the problem and are coming back to the family. But at this exact moment, none of them have powers. So yeah, she's helping Luisa and pointing out "We can do this together, you don't have to do stuff all alone anymore." Also, the house falling down, and then rebuilding it from the ground up, is like a great metaphor for them rebuilding their family and their lives together.
