Disgaea 2 PC Suuuuper early item farming

Below is basically a copy paste from the above guide.
First things first. To unlock dark world level 3-3 you need to create a 5-man tower anywhere on the normal map.
The level is pretty straight forward. A very strong and very mobile zombie and a dark sun that keeps on poisoning your units every other turn.
Minimum requirements:
- 1 Thief
- 7~9 Beast Tamers with bows
- 1 ranged unit that can kill your thief
Strategy:
1st turn (dark sun activates):
- Throw an unit close to the zombie and throw the zombie closer to the base panel.
- Send out a thief and use health on the zombie.
- Send other units out and throw the zombie on the island on the corner of the level. The zombie should be thrown on the panel closest to the main island.
- Don't send out your beast tamers so they don't get poisoned.
2nd turn:
- Send out all of your beast tamers (only 6 will be able to attack and avoid being attacked)
- Set up the other 3 so they get in their positions on the next turn.
- Combo the zombie. (should get 2 levels of bonus gauge)
3rd turn
- Set up the last 3 beast tamers and attack with everyone (should get bonus gauge to level 6)
4th turn
- Attack with everyone again and start to move back to the base panel (bonus gauge should be at 9)
5th turn
- Throw your thief at the island and use health on the zombie again.
- KILL the thief on with a ranged attack. If the zombie kills the thief with a normal attack it will regenerate and not die with the second poison.
6th turn
- Move out the units you want to level up (if there is a +xp reward).
- Stage Clear.
With this method you can easily and safely reach level 50+ very fast with all your characters.

Harry Callahan Most definitely. And the disgaea series only gets better and better. They keep adding even cooler stuff that makes the series exponentially better. I still learn new things about the game even to this very day. And the campaign or story or whatever u wanna call it is literally only like 5% of the content the game has to offer. If u ever have any questions or anything just ask. xD

If you wait for you thief to have the lvl 10 ou can asleep the zombie => you have not to kill your thief and that make not an ally kill +1

so wait i dont understand...how did you throw to that panel that even says "Cannot throw to this panel" then he is thrown diagonal? is that a glitch i havent herd of yet?

wilson113388 I think ur mistaken about a no enter panel. there are none on this map, but yes u can throw diagnol. if u notice when ur throwing, u can see your movement panels as you aim from one axis to another. example being aim up the directly aiming left. as ur aim moves u can quickly tap the button to throw diagnol

Nice! And i didn't mean no entry panel. I just meant the tooltip it throws up when you have the "water tile" selected before you do that trick. I'll try to get this to work. Thanks

wilson113388 yea NP. Just extend ur throw out then hit left or right, in the videos case left, and immediately hit the accept/throw button. Diagnol throwing is an invaluable move once u get practice in xD

Matt Hatter 70+ is a lil more time consuming. But if u notice at the beginning I show my roster and my mage goes straight from 1 to 50+. It just depends on the exp bonuses. But yea most def could hit 70 no sweat, provided u wanna spend the time on it

thx man its no prob. this game has a buncha lil exploits that arent to hard to find. This method was actually new to me so i made a video for it. The link to the guide i used is in the description. Once u get to a up in the high digits is when the real crazy stuff happens. This method is for real early play.

Sorry for the late response. 5 hidden switches and 1 battle against a lvl 100 enemy named Mk. II i believe. Detailed version is at the very beginning of this guide. Basically the very first thing, aside from the introduction. Now that i think about it, that would be a good vid to make and upload. no problem. i just needed to know if i can find these buttons at the very begining of the game. farming exp is kinda hard at the begining when you already is a veteran (already played disgaea 2 from ps2 and psp but those tricks is new to me) thanks for the help! o/

This doesn't work so well on pc. I can only get like 4 in range without being attacked, they must have lowered their attack range or something. But I lose most of my archers before he dies from posion, only getting to about 5-6 on the bonus gauge. Is there another dark world level I can lock a monster on an island and do this?

Actually there is a way to do this that is a million times easier and I'm not sure why you did this the super long way. Just use 2 thieves. Throw it over, use one to poison, then attack with all the beast dudes, then use the other thief to put it to sleep on the last action. Rinse repeat. done in 4 rounds instead of 6 and with less bullshit and no sacraficing of characters so you can pull 10 characters that need xp out. Also save right before you go in and check the bonus meter, if it doesn't have what you want, re-load. So much faster.

Actually umm how are you supposed to get to the 2nd cycle without losing all the gear on all your characters? everything that was equipped is gone. and I have no characters.

i use the first dark world map with the moths and let them revive everytime via the dark moon eventually long enough you would get bonus 9 without using any beast master granted you have to let the moths revive and theres only 3 of them so leave one alive ...... it also works as i use the moths to skill grind they do poison and confuse you at times but i have a char with espoir ready (also a way for my healer to grind skills) its also the dark moon that i dont care about having it there as it revives enemies so i use them as punching bags for farming stuff early

Sorry for really late reply. The reason this video was done in the manner that I did it in, is on account of a strategy guide for the steam community on PC when the game was released for PC. I did what I did word for word with the strategy guide

I believe its because the beastmasters have a higher "bonus % gauge increase" than archers

Lmao you must be new to disgaea. That's is very early, especially if you take into account that you start farming basically endgame equipment. You easily hit 50 just buy getting to the required stage in the story, you have to put in work regardless so just grow a pair and grind for an hour.
