Hmmm... I think you have forgotten about certain attacks, like Desco's second Magichange skill (Balmung) and two of Asagi's skills, one in which she goes gunfights the targets Matrix style, and another in which she catapults everyone into sky, then blasts them back down and carves the word 'Asagi' into Earth with a satellite cannon.

Well I know at least over in Japan land being a good Seiyu can get you lots of OTHER things and make you quite the idol, I was just wondering seen as there is money to pay for both new voices in a dubbing, and licensing fees for keeping the originals, that dependant on the way they go about it the costs wouldn't be too far apart, after all if the cost of getting DECENT voice actors in the west is around the licensing fees range, it would seem sensible to maintain the writers and creators intent.

Well, of course bad voice acting is in every language, but a Japanese voice actor is usually paid better than an english one, because of just how much a big deal it is in japan as a Seiyu, as opposed to being a voice actor in say the west, not forgetting the people they pay to dub are usually paid even less than norm, I know one such game I hate both voices is Megaman ZX Advent, horrible on both ends, no saving grace there, life goes on, would you know if its more expensive to license or dub?

HA! If a dubber got paid as much as the original VA, I'd agree, but like FUCK that's happening! Also, bad writing or a line that destroys the feel can be easily ignored if its hidden in another language, that way, when someone is super annoying, I can at least enjoy ignorance but there are still things out there that suck in ALL voices, which are the truly worst of the worst for EVERYONE, regardless of localisation.

But aren't there fans that would still feel attached to the old characters? Would keeping the old characters really hurt the series? I'm just wondering what most of the community thinks. So, erm....Did Flonne lose her ol' "Power of Love" skill in exchange for "Durian Dragon Dranyago" or something? Or did you just not include her "Power of Love" skill because it's not an actual attack? Cuz' that skill saved my ass throughout the first Disgaea and through the latter portion of Disgaea 2. =P

@TermMenafor these guys may be strong but not THAT strong i highly doubt they could survive a spirit bomb or final flash or kamehameha or big bang attack ect. now they might be able to beat freeza or cooler or krillin. but as far as goku vegeta and gohan i highly doubt they would win just sayin

@PinoyKun32 lol yeah i mean strength wise they should be the same but visually meteor impact was way bigger in Disgaea 2. After seeing Flonne and Etna's moves looking stronger, Laharl's moves look weaker ya know. If anything they should have made Laharl stronger since he is the original main character.

@Lineofdeath2 the only other time I think the kick was used was with the fat cat yummy thing, and the feline greed blocked that and he pretty much fell, and in the final the insect one got killed...... cells medals are very powerful apparently.....

I don't recall stating they WERE, it just appears that the good ones have a very varied and large assortment of endorsed items or something asimilar as well as jobs of which I would assume is not only because they are good, but also liked significantly by the public, my opinion on FUN and Manga? Well I like many only know FUN because of Dragonball, of which was in my opinion better than the original, else I don't really DO dubs, & anyone who thinks a country is so uniform is painfully ignorant.
