@poketubeBE Well, as the other guy said, legendarys DO go to 100. But he obviously went in to some mystery rooms and got a few extra levels(or hasn't fully upgraded it yet). In disgaea 4 you can get up to I think level 300 on an item. Yeah, if you like abuse Mr. Gency exits and restarting for mystery levels that increase your level on a ton of floors. It could take like 10 hours... But the stats will be insane. So go nuts.

How is this video stupid? This game IS a strategy RPG, therefore there are various ways of going about completing a level. It's just a matter of strategizing and finding the right path that works for you.

@poketubeBE Legendary items go up to 100 item world levels so that's why. Normal items go up to 20-30 I think and the rare ones go up to 50.

Normal go up to 30. Rare go up to 60, Legendary go up to 100.
