MonsterKat it's frustrating. I can't remember which world, the one you fight the guy who is trying to retrain the Prinnies, and I went to the left of the map and learned I couldn't drop down a small ledge (I didn't even notice it was higher) so after throwing Killia around, my other character just took forever to move over. Then once I got back I got schooled so hard and my attacks did nothing. Like basically I was getting one hit killed.

it's overwhelming for beginners, I used to go to gamefaqs (school internet), ask questions, paste the answers on Word, and print them in school (for free). I look impressive "working hard" in school that the teacher never bothered checking my activities. When I get home I play the game while checking the printed answers. It was in Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness on the PSP, most of the questions are about transmigrating, item world, and legendary items.

This video deserves way more likes :) Normally I would consider the unopened soda trick a cheat and not use it. In a regular game at least. But it's totally in the spirit of how this game works. :) It's not really a cheat if you are a demon.... it's a quick path to glory ;)

Walawalacookie I mean the entire premise of the game is that you can’t cheat you’re meant and encouraged to exploit and abuse its systems to get an unfair advantage

i recently got into the game, and did the soda trick; It's super nice to set the Cheat shop exp to 500%, and pass the "3x exp bill on next map", then do it; like 3-4 levels every item use, it's super nice

tip 1: get to chapter three. tip 2: unlock the interrogation and capture squads and the cheat shop tip3: spam Spirit Internment 1 tip4: level up the two squads tip5: proceed to do this until you can go up a star level. tip6: laugh as nothing can really hurt you. tip7: repeat tip3 on totobunny zombie horde and martial training 4

o_o wow they put a LOT of stuff into the 5th game. Too much to try to remember. I haven't even started it yet but...now I know a few things early

One thing is that you get a balanced team someone to take hits like red and a armor knight your hitters are Killen and Sara and another class mages and healers are so op that you want to use then often but not all the time ( going off mages not healers ) skills are good but don't go crazy with the leveling for the skills some skills are good tell you get more sp then level them but for the most part Do not always let the main cast of people get lvs some classes are more powerful the them and you need some classes lvs to get better classes and jobs

+Number13teen Thing about Item World enemies is they have pretty low stats. Thus, a pretty easy and cheap way to get prisoners to expand your Squads.

I'm really new to the game, literally just got it and these tips seem like they'll really help, but my main question is why killia and the others have different colour palettes. Is it something for beating the game or no?

The assembly is unlocked after clearing chapter 2. You can change colors there. Later on, you can even directly edit the colors yourself.

+akou12 The Dark Assembly unlocks after beating chapter 2 in this game. At that point, you can pass a bill to unlock the Cheat Shop.

SP is basically like MP from other games. Mana is basically points you can spend on upgrades. Like proposing bills, and purchasing evilities.

MrEvilbyte so lets say im lvl 200 but havent upgraded my specials. are the specials still weak?

If you have the Mana to spend, then don't be afraid to upgrade your specials. Just note the rising SP costs of the special. Now if you level the special in battle by using it, that can go a long way to bringing it's SP costs down (so you can upgrade higher).

+Sodisna I think I had about 5 or so (almost everyone on the screen had it). Each one gives a +30% EXP gain. You don't even need that many, cause Soda's give you plenty of EXP regardless.

Sodas (or any other item) normally gives you 1/8ths towards next levelup. But all EXP modifiers does increase the EXP you get from Sodas.
