It's ridiculous, Mark is playing some next level mental gymnastics. Around 18:05 he says he wouldn't know who to take off, if that's the case either all the players are below average (including 8/11 being eth's signings in the starting line up) OR the way the team is set up is just not good enough and hasn't been for a long time. I go with the latter. That first season that everyone goes on about where we finished 3rd and won the league cup, we had plenty of dodgy performances and were lucky to win quite a few games. Last season even before the injury crisis we looked incredibly exposed in midfield and had an amazing bottom place showing in the CL group stage. Ten Hag is the consistent theme here. There is a distinct lack of control in the way he plays at Utd. It's been better this season but the results haven't been good enough.
