As a PIMO who's dad was formerly an elder, I can confirm that's 100% true. He said during some of the meetings ppl would be talking about problems at home and say things abt their family that they probably shouldn't have been. Meanwhile, those same men just LOVE to say women r gossips and talk about that stuff too much. Btw, for anyone wondering, my dad is still a pimi (I think) and still believes, he just stepped down cuz the pressure of being an elder was getting to him (I think).

So the missionary homes didn't work because they were run democratically, not theocraticslly. Then he gave the example that missionaries had to abruptly stop their ministry to travel back to the home to have their meal at a time that had been agreed upon democratically. Mmm. I wonder where they got that idea from? Don't workers at Bethel have to keep strict time keeping ? Don't they have to interrupt their work, change into a God dam suit, and then go to lunch? It seems like the missionary homes were copying Bethel and that's why they failed.
