The reason why Sydney couldn't give away the death note is because she pressed on the wrong person, if you look at the menu it shows she's selected on fanfan and not toast and she was trying to give it to her which doesn't work

people need to learn how passing the death note and id’s works & also that getting voted GIVES kira your id (so it’s basically killing the voted off person). after that, this game gets good

Yeah he pointed out in the first game to look for who really doesn't want to risk their ID and Lily's reaction to getting voted gave it away to me that she was L before they even showed it. But he voted everyone else 😅

I saw another comment mentioning this, but Sydney was accidentally trying to give the death note to fan fan because fan fan was targeted. If it’s actually a game mechanic that you can give your follower the death note, then if she did it correctly they probably would have had a better chance at winning. I’m curious to see how this goes when they all are more familiar with the mechanics. But this felt exactly like the show, when toast was on the private line trying to tell syd she had 40 seconds to give him the note. I loved the tension and drama there.

It's just unfortunate with all those rounds. First round L dies immediately, second round Toast is sussed out after being truthful about what the notes said (which is completely unfair losing because they were bad at taking notes) and then the third round Sydney was sussed out for touching scarra when Toast (who was arrested) was the one who took the ID. Them throwing shade wildly got them a free win, but when you role a dice once in a while you'll get a win every so often. Heck he was claiming Sydney was evil when it was a group of 4 people bunched up, why her specifically? It's not hard for Kira if he's not hit by bad luck.

First round from Sykkuno's POV is actually so hilarious. He spawned right next to Sean who happened to be Kira (and it was the very first game as well). The minute Sean said: "Let me just go somewhere" I knew what was gonna happen. Typical move :D

@ yeah I guess but I feel like there should be a risk for lying about it. For example, in among us if you self report a body, you can’t really lie about where the body is cause someone can easily call you out. In this game, there is no risk for lying about someone’s dying message. As time passes I assume it will be harder for the killers to lie because players will get smarter but I just wish there was some risk involved if you decide to lie

I think it's harder to be L because there's no one to trust unlike Kira who has follower. And the game ends immediately when L dies. There should be a mechanic for an Investigator to be N only if L dies early game so the game can still continue.
