I mean, the fact that you see into the future doesn't give you any ability to change said outcome (i.e. You see yourself tripping over a banana "in the future". It's still going to happen because you see it in your vision, and thus if it didn't happen, it's not technically happening in the future). In the same sense, it isn't as useful in games such as Hearthstone (seeing the opponent play a giant board clear to counter your giant board doesn't help, because in that situation you still have a large board to incite this board clear play). There are very minor and situational places in which this would help, but overall, not really.

Castowley Except the fact that you see "the future" (i.e. you tripping over the banana) means that it is destined to happen, as it is technically the future and will happen regardless. It's a bit of a weird concept, but it's kinda like the idea of time travel. Say you had the ability to go back in time. You go back, and have the potential to interrupt the time-line, say, killing Hitler before the tragedies occurred. Except... In that case, you're also disrupting YOUR time-line, meaning you would cease to exist should you kill Hitler prematurely. So you're unable to do it. No matter what you do, it happened in your timeline, so it had to be true and cannot be changed. The same idea is within the concept of divination and "seeing the future". No matter what you do, if you saw it and it were to be true, there would be no avoiding it. If you DID see and somehow avoided it, it would cease to be "the future" and would instead be an alternate timeline (which is not the definition of divination and seeing the future). It's a lot of what's wrong with modern day media depictions of divination; person 1 predicts the future, person 2 attempts to prevent the future from happening, yet it still happens because it's destined to happen, from what person 1 said.

You're talking about an extremely narrow use of time manipulation as a fictitonal ability. Not every story/hypothetical uses the same mechanics. Maybe the OP wanted to use a "generate an alternate universe" type future sight.

I just had a genius idea: Math of heartstone where both sides try to loose. They would have to make special decks that heals enamy and deals damage to themselfs or draws until you burn all your cards. I think that would be fun game against friends.
