I don’t think. I think it is what it is sadly. I think they can try to do damage control and maybe try to patch things up in the mid month but I doubt it will be enough for this bs. Also I think the next several updates will also play a role in whether this update is as terrible as we are thinking or not. Sadly I think they will just keep giving us mediocre updates with uniforms that are barely upgrades. And if they give us any game modes or game mode improvements I fear it’ll be the same old rewards. My main issues are: -the updates lately have been very mediocre. -only paywall uniforms and uniforms for very expensive characters get reworks worthy of the investment. -OUT OF ALL OF THE MUTANTS THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN US THEY GAVE US 3 MORE JEAN GREYS?? -T2 Exodus. -T4 characters with no uniforms. -The Epic Quest costs 1,100 more crystals without better rewards. -The Epic Quest Deluxe mission rewards will most likely be the same bs like ISO, Phoenix Feathers, and Mkraan Crystals…which leads me to my next point. -It’s been how many years and they still have not removed the cap on Mutant materials. -They add in more items to sell us without increasing inventory space (this is what like the 35th time they have added more materials/items without increasing inventory space) -They increase the cost of things without increasing rewards and adjusting the crystal cost of certain things like items in Shield Lab, removing CTP’s, etc.

@DeathproofMFF, What I like about this epic quest is the fact that the devs got outside of their comfort zone and released more heroes than usual. Plus! I also like the fact that we're getting more mutants. Finally getting Havok after asking for years feels great. Plus! Anyone who's been on the forums/Reddit lately knows a good number of people have been asking for Madelyn, and here she is. Plus! A new epic quest also stirred up excitement as we all witnessed on various social media platforms. Plus! Sadly, that's where the excitement ends for me. The devs jacked the price way up, while not increasing the number of crystals one can earn in the game. Minus! Only one hero is getting a uniform. Minus! The devs continue to advance heroes without tweaking their kits or new uniforms to make them update-compliant. Minus! The livestream was 95% a showcase for the epic quest and 5% for new power creep. Minus! The livestream should show us what the update is, not tease us. Minus! Patch notes should iron things out, sure, but the livestream should be crystal clear about what the product is and should tell players the cost of goods and what all one gets upon purchase. We should have to guess or find out after purchasing, as we almost always have to do. Minus! I have absolutely no interest in a Goblin Queen Screensaver, and its purchase shouldn't be a prerequisite for purchasing the epic quest. If the epic quest is going to be more or less of what they typically are, it shouldn't cost any more than they currently do in the game currently. Minus! Updates should be complete when released, and we shouldn't have to wait two weeks later for the rest of it to drop. I've always hated this formula. Midmonth updates would be better served to patch unenforceable update problems, game balancing, advancements for heroes that don't fit in updates (Werewolf, Deathlok, Slapstick, etc.), weekly events/missions, as well as code for future updates to lessen the maintenance times for future updates. The passion we see put into teases needs to show up in the updates. It's crazy that devs' passion for their work isn't obvious to us all. 3RL isn't well-versed in the content he's presenting. Reading from a script, and fumbling his way through his presentation isn't a good look. Negative! What would your teacher/boss say to you if you gave a presentation the way he does? Sure, the devs aren't giving him much to work with, but that's not an excuse. Say what you will about Kage and Kim, but at least they put passion into their presentations--Kage even cosplayed and did a bit of acting. 3RL isn't just isn't a good hype man--content creators are the ones who make me want to buy something if I'm being honest.

wooow this a well rounded opinion ! we are pretty much in the same page .. i mean yeah new characters but like that .. characters should be introduced and be playable in any game mode day 1 not have to wait 3 middle patch to get any value from the 7700 you have to pay in front... totally bs at,.. cross fingers that they suck on delivering the content in livestream and the patch notes are AWESOME !

How often do devs patch game errors that DON'T benefit agents? How often do devs buff heroes agents on forums ask for or the one's Star Agents like you suggest? When the answer is closer to almost never, it's hard to have hope, man =/ Star Agents are going to do what they're going to do, but those who purchase this pack and make content with these heroes are going to help Netmarble sell this update, making it a success flows and all if it is indeed as bad as the livestream presented it =/ Ugh. The update is less than two days away, but the things everyone is looking for are at least two weeks out. 2024 needs things to shake up. How many apps make their users wait two weeks for actual content? I don't play many apps, but the ones I do play have a lot of things going on, and most of them, even little-timed weekly ones happen like clockwork! And they reward players with in-game currency! Enough to purchase one booty box that has a premium character in it. Yes, it's still a game of chance, but that chance is 5% for new characters and 10 for older premium characters. Their booty boxes aren't jam-packed with every character in the game either, as they cycle old and new characters out. MFF booty boxes have everything in them, and we can't even get a decent chance of getting anything without a once-in-a-blue-moon chance-up event that doesn't really give one good odds. Dragon Ball Dokkan does a much better job of listening to their players and rewarding their players. The game's head producer holds events and talks to the community. Wow!

I can keep the increased cost aside for a moment if they would've made both hope and madelyne T4 ( hope being a OP combat T4 with great value outside of ABXL too while madelyne being adam level in tlb while being OP in other PVE game modes just like jean ) but them being at T3 ain't gonna do anything for the value of this EQ as they don't even come close to the value jean and mags provide while being cheaper . Also this EQ has like 7 characters needed to get madelyne amongst which 2 are premium ( exodus and rachel ) and 1 being semi premium i.e kid omega ( his bios aren't that simple to get at all and are mainly available only during special checkin events only for free ) and then also 2 native T2s which again makes it much more expensive than the other EQ's so they are themselves taking a big L for their sales which is hilarious

Bro, I am not justifying MFF devs but Havoc should need at least 08blast books so with the current book cap we would need 18 books I think they are holding an exodus because of that reason I mean 3 t3s are a little bit too much for one update Also, I am happy for hope summers and I believe that one of the new character will get t4 in mid-month But Cyclops T4 is completely unexpectable without uni but I am still happy because I can save t4 mats for Wanda❤

Netmarble and Marvel to allow 3rl to not have to completely go by script. Allow 3rl to be creative and do his research. That's a small part of what they need to do. Can't say enough how strong the live stream started it fell sooo flat. They've got a lot to prove cause Cyclops has always been just a support. Trapping Exodus at T2 so lame. A new character added to the Barbie and Ken doll display shelf. We don't have content for T2 skills. We get new uniforms for character. But they lack sooo much. Characters without ignore/etc. They don't know and don't seem to care. I'll still play the game. It would take a lot more for me to take a break. That's just me. Wow this ended up long. Thank you for the video good cop and bad cop. The devs should really be watching your videos. Especially this one🎉 One more thing. Dispatch says coming soon. Hmm Yes T4 mat increase please.

Cannot agrree more about you guys saying. This update still can be good if devs put T4 matz into the rewards and not just as a 1 time reward. Don't have to be krazy amount, like 5-10 per day is enough. Just put it into these daily deluxe quest. Or somewhere. And what else i can imagine? A discounted Havok T3 thru the epic quest. Most likely this would be the best part of the update. I can imagine a Cyclops uniform mid month since the og X-Men was the X-Factor in the Inferno storyline. (that storyline is EPIC!!) But as you guys saying these things must be in the main update, not mid month. And what we get? A naked T4 Cyclops. Still saying that only 3 people working on the game. That's why they copy/paste things like that. Even if they have ideas cannot do it bcoz the lack of manpower.

Guys it's the eXtortion Update. We pay more for this Epic Quest then we still have to buy T4 materials to rank them up to Tier 4. Also I'm still waiting for mutants to get costumes we can purchase with in game currency.

Once you do a serious research on what has been going on in Marvel Contest of Champions, another NM property via Kabam, during the past two years, you are going to be seriously pissed about MFF…. Champ redesigns, content designed for underused champs, developer noted EVERY month, BEFORE the update, end-game content that rocks the community…. That is a game that I actually WANT to quit… and they won’t let me. Do they do everything right? No. But the game is in touch with what the players need or think they need.

I will say it again, for the millionth time: If this game had a 260-level Shadowland that was worth playing, that is, a mode with progressive difficulty, where ALL of your roster is needed AT SOME POINT… … even updates like this would be STELLAR.

Shadowland is already way too much for 99.999% of people to complete in a single week. And alex suggesting doubling it, while also adding bullshit restrictions like having every uniform that netmarble botch(like spectrum and now exodus) every time they meet is crazy. Also we're not stupid 5 year olds for not having every single uniform and premium character in the game. Sadly, if anything, it says that you dont understand the game when you have them all.

If Shadowland was dishing out a CTP, an Odin’s Blessing, 300 soul of faltine and 300 carbonadium per week, per 250- stage clear, we’d sure see HOW many would GLADLY clear it weekly. And some people have all the unis in the game because some people have been playing the game since it started and they have been dishing out their hard-earned money supporting it. In fact, the EXACT target group NM should be catering to, since noone new comes in and decides to spend thousands of dollars in MFF just to catch up.
