I have never been on either side of a streamer gambling someome elses items. However it is my understanding that players are trying to take advantage of streamer RNG, as they sometimes are on seperate server clients. Sometimes they just do it for content, to help the streamer. But it seems to me, any 'service' like this should be tipped in some way. Beyond that, anything like this should be agreed upon first. In the end, if a streamer turns your (1?) card and harvest juice into 6 cards... why the hell would you not tip the extra card when you just got your MB? IF you can't be OK with a tip, don't freaking bother other people to do this for you. Gamble yourself and likely lose everything.

I'm not that familiar, but based on other comments. A mageblood is a rare item that you need 5 parts for. The fan gave her 1/5. She rolled lucky and got 6 total, gave back 5 and pocketed the 6th. There was no agreement beforehand that it was okay for her to take anything. The whole point was that it was free stream content for her to try and get the mageblood.

For anyone somewhat oblivious to POE, here's my understanding of what happened: Firstly, mageblood is EXTREMELY valuable and rare. Now for the meat of what happened. One of this streamer's viewers gave he(r) mageblood to gamble with so that (s)he could do the gamble for streaming content. There was absolutely no point to allowing the streamer to do the gamble for the fan aside from the fan wanting to give the streamer something to do during he(r) stream. During the gambling session, the streamer managed to turn the original 2x mageblood into 6x mageblood. Without any prior agreement, the streamer STOLE one of the rolled mageblood as "payment" even though the streamer literally did nothing to earn it other then be given some mageblood by a fan to roll for them as part of the streamer's stream. Anyone can correct me if I am wrong. This is just what I've been able to piece together from the video and other comments

You are right most of the part, except she was given 2 parts of a mageblood, you need 5 parts to get a full mageblood, she generated 4 more part so total of 6. She gave a full mageblood back-5 part and took 1 part for herself which was not agreed on, or like 1000 times higher than any value of the service provided.

In non-poe terms. He gave her 7 bucks to roll at a casino. Said pull out when you hit 20 bucks, or roll until you run out. She was able to get to 20 bucks, rolled one more time to get to 21, pocketed the 1 and gambled the remaining 20 to nothing.

I actually think the guy watched it back realized how there was an extra card because if she only needed 1 more to make 5 why should she click it with 2 cards if they could of poofed unless she wanted to ask for an extra one which she never asked she just said im taking this. it just shows she is probably addicted to this game like how drug addicts steal from their family and friends to continue their addiction and has not shown any remorse to anyone she took from untill the heat was on. just bad behavior all around. doesnt deserve to make money from content of this game if they are going to act like that.

Non-streamer handed over his possessions to the streamer to gamble for entertainment to watch with twitch chat etc. The gamble is tokens bet are either; doubled, stay the same or go to 0. You need X amount of tokens to complete the set and turn the full set in for the item the tokens add up to. This set of tokens are for one of the most expensive and sought after items in the game and the tokens, which you need a total of 5, are worth more than many players make over months of game time, like gambling lifesavings on red/black at the casino. This streamer then reached 6 tokens, 1 over the required 5 and kept the spare 1 as 'payment' for doing this gamble, which can be done by anyone off stream, because it was streamed. You could think of it as, winning the lottery and the guy who sold the ticket took 20% of your winnings.

​@@kooperkillaWhile I don't agree with what happened your analogy is bad. It would be like if you bought a lottery ticket and then handed it to someone else to pick the numbers and their picks won. Do you owe a cut of your winnings? No. Would it be kind of shitty to not share with the person who actually did the thing? Kind of. It's only different in this case for two reasons: because for the streamer it is content and the streamer also took it upon themselves to just take a portion essentially as a tax.
