I only played the games and I can't remember any reference to this ritual. It is said he was a man but he trancended. Now he is one with the Void and acts more so out of boredom.

Vespene Gas it's in dishonored 2, after you leave stilton' s house. the outsider lays on the very table right in front if the knife. and he was only a 15 year old boy when he died. the story describes the outsider as a "creature of insatiable curiosity" which is why he pulls people he thinks are "interesting" into the void and marks them. it's for his entertainment.

When I played Dishonored 2, i pretty much forgot everything about Dishonored 1, but I love the series. I think my game bugged out on the ending though. I know I didn't want to kill the guy, I think he said something like "you can kill me or just take the keys", so when I took the keys, he turned aggro and I had no choice but to kill him lol If Meagan is Billie, why is she helping Corvo in no.2, considering she helped kill the empress/kidnap Emily?

The cool part is that the outsider sees all, he sees all of time and all its possibilites and he has seen his own death. So if the outsider dies at the hand of daud/billy, then he knew it all along and did nothing to stop it because he knew it was inevitable

I'm really digging the mechanical feel to Billie's powers. I love how it contrasts with the botanical, chaotic theme of Delilah's, and the regal and dark, umbra of Emily's abilities. Billie's powers don't appear to be wild, or ambitious; sleek, or ethereal. Billie's talents are pragmatic and sharp, worn but effective- like the sparks born from the clash between rusted steel.

Always hated how Duad blamed the Outsider for all the chaos when he's the one who killed the Empress for a bit of coin. The Outsider gave him the abilities of the Void but he didn't put him on the path of assassinating people for profit. The Outsider isn't good nor evil... Just neutral; who only talks to folks that spark his interest. I'm glad that we don't have to kill him; The Outsider isn't to blame for Dishonored's world of misfortune and plague. That can be dropped on Duad and his assassins.

The Outsider enabled people like Granny Rags, Daud, and Delilah to augment their corruption with magical powers, leading to the deaths of Jessamine compounded with many innocents after the Lord Regent as well as Delilah took the throne. And just look at how easily Corvo could have become a mass murderer. The Outsider gives an unfair advantage to people he typically finds interesting or ambitious, not to people who necessarily have the moral sense to use his powers for good. Only an Outsider who grants powers to morally good and heroic people who have the potential to affect positive change in the world should be allowed to exist.

Yeah, that's my question, too. I mean.. Daud says here that the Outsider is behind all the chaos that's happened, but that's not the full of it. We've had the rat plague, which was Hiram Borrows fault. We've had the death of the empress, which Daud himself did. And we have had Delilah's coup. You could say the Outsider is indirectly behind the last two cus they involved mark bearers. But he's also *directly* behind the solution to the first two (giving Corvo powers) and he helped with Delilah, both in D1 by sending Daud after her before she possessed Emily, and in D2 by offering to bestow the mark on the player.

Okay so a few quick observations; (MAJOR DISHONORED 2 SPOILERS) Billie seems to be wielding the sword used by the people (overseers) that killed the outsider when he was a kid and turned him into a god. The wanted poster seems to be in the same styling as those used in Karnaca (how convenient that Daud's been so close by.) Billie seems to have lost her arm and eye again (assuming that the 'knock out Aramis Stilton' solution is cannon for the mission in his mansion), though it feels much more likely that it's simply cannon that the player lets Aramis loose his mind (oh well!)

Same here, but it doesn't look like we'll get to. Unfortunately, there's nothing pointing to Daud being playable. I hope that I'm wrong, but the description on Bethesda's website doesn't say otherwise.
