Disinfection of Exhaled Air Leaving nebulizer Machine-English

Contamination of room air with the microorganisms in generated aerozoles during nebulization
causes a great risk for healthcare workers as the exhaled air would be loaded with pathogens. More
attention is drawn to the matter with the current COVID-19 infection.
Usually the nebulizers use Exhalation Filters to filter these particles. The filters will carry the
pathogens until they have a natural death. These filters can be cleaned and re-used depending on the
type of filter or else they have to be replaced regularly.
We invented a technique to kill the pathogens ,by absorbing
and dissolving in a suitable chemical (0.1% TCL)and by exposing to a high temperature .
This novel apparatus can be used to nebulize patients with minimum contamination of room air
during COVID-19 epidemic.
