Love this, I'm looking to put together a small rack '6U' for making deep house myself after being a DJ playing it for over 20 years! If I may ask, what is the module you use to make the string/stab sounds? and what in your opinion would be the best modules to start out with to make deep house in a modular way, any help would be much appreciated, regards Sev.

Thanks Felix. It's while ago but i can see that he kick is a Noise Engineering basimilus Iteratus module with it's Pitch CV is being modulated by a really short envelope. The claps are probably white noise which i have filtered. A short EG used for Amplitude and Filter modulation. The clap clusters are created by triggering the EG via a SSF Propagate module which i use the SUM output to generate a cluster of 4 triggers, then modulate the time just a little bit to make the clap seem a little different each time.

Thanks. I can't really remember what modules i'm using to make the keys. but it would say that the VCO is more than likely a Mutable Instruments Braids, filtered through a low pass filter (maybe Doepfer A106-5 )with an Envelope modulating the cutoff of the filter (maybe Maths)
