Hhhhhhhmmm...... I really didn't like this style of explanation, and I don't think enough time was given to the derivation of the equation or the idea of the sum of the moments being zero. Time could have been saved elsewhere. The style of approach revolves around thinking of F = ma, as F - ma = 0, and this leads to the nasty inertial force. I don't think enough care is taken with various crucial parts of the explanation.
