It seems like I'll be able to get r6 JQ in the next event banner!! Should I keep using Relief set in PvP or swap him to my War Set. Currently his best option stat wise would be his Calamity set (Or Tyranny set or Astralis set, bc this game loves to troll me like that)

So when my Jin Qiu used his S3 the first time around, it killed Fu Shi. However, Lians Bubble saved him so he didn't die, but he still lost his passive ability to protect embla so when Embla died to the next AoE and Lian lost her bubble again the passive from Fu shi couldn't work because he already died from the start of the match. If that makes sense.

Is it worth it to use hp boots on Jq for the shields? Mine has 3.8 atk and 2.4 def with +80 speed.

I would say no because you want HP bonus Def Bonus and Atk Bonus in all your sub stats alongside spd, so he should have a large amount of HP from the Sub Stats alone!

If your JQ isn't r6 he needs an HP bonus main for one of the three (for PvP). For PvE I just run him on ATK DEF DEF

Calamity JQ, if you have the debuffers to boost his damage, but War JQ is very consistent with or without debuffers, it depends on PVE. Calamity is good, but in PvP, I would say war because of any many defense teams have ways to remove debuffs.

​@@KaidanCortezI get your point. I think the extra 20% damage against debuffed targets from the Calamity set makes up for losing the 30% attack boost from the War set. Since the best option now is pairing JQ with Chu Yao, who applies a lot of debuffs, I thought putting the Calamity set on him would be a good idea. Not sure how many espers that cleanse debuffs are in the meta right now.
