Although a complete mystery, there is more complexity inside a Bolex than I first imagined. A fine machine indeed.

If you have stuck screws get a set of "Vampire Pliers". They save me from drilling about 90% of stuck screws.

Hi Paul, true these tools work great most of the time. However, the screws I've been working with are either soooo far rusted that it's as if there welded in. Or soooo far frozen that grinding then drilling's the only option. Thanks for the link.

@@paulmorbid1476 A gun smith friend of mine swares by Kano Aerokroil Penetrating Oil, for rusted screws and bolts. I have not tried its, but He says it the best.

Reads good. I use weapons grease and oil for CLAs on Bolex cameras.
