I was born in Anaheim, CA, and as a kid, I used to watch the Disney fireworks from my grandma's porch. I am in the Northeast US now. Anyway, I love the way they decorated the castle for the 100th year. I saw Flora and Fauna and Merryweather right away in the decorations. 💯

World of Color One is about how one action can cause a great event. Each story depicted in the show depicts a change maker, how its hard to be one, and why it is worth it. For example the star wars section ends with Luke on the island and we transition to Simba hiding from his past.

I happened to be in Boarding Group 5 after getting the virtual queue at 7, when we made our way there, they had tons of cast members clapping for us as we walked in to be some of the first on the ride and it was really special and I wish you guys could have been there to see it. Also, Peter, the Channel 7 shirt you showed in the kids size does come in Adult sizes. It was over in the Eras section in World of Disney. My wife snagged one. Glad you guys had fun! Wished I had run into you guys but maybe one day =)

We met Walt Disney when I was small, the year the Matterhorn opened. I knocked out my mom on the ride and he came to make sure we were okay. We were his guests for the day and got what ever we wanted except his autograph which ha wasn't allowed to give anymore, before he gave out the cards. I have never forgotten that day and I'm 72 now.

Make a day of going to thrift stores around the city. You’ll always find something. This goes for any attraction in any state. Also, OfferUp, Marketplace and Facebook Market while you’re in town. Locals go get something change their mind or grow bored of it easily as usually sell it for much cheaper.

I really love all the vintage merchandise because I am huge Disney fan and studied animation. Also I used to work there if I was still a Cast Member I would have put Baloo because he's so much fun and cool. Plus Jungle Book is my favorite animated and Disney movie. Going by the footage shown, the 100th Anniversary World of Color looked pretty damn awesome with the Star Wars and Avengers stuff. I think why they showed more recent and modern animated films and movies is for the kids, they wouldn't jive with showing old black and white Micky mouse cartoons, and show the "evolution" of the original classic Disney characters into the modern day sadly. As a "World of Color" for the modern child audiences it looked amazingly good IMO

My wife and I do the dessert party every time we do World Of Color and we LOVE IT!!!! The desserts we've had have been some of the BEST Disney treats we've had. And if you do the 1st show they have never rushed us and we've constantly been seated 20 to 30 minutes before the start of the show and have had a great view. I highly recommend doing it again with the early show. For us it's well worth the $$$.
