Even though The Walt Disney Company is 100 years old, it is relatively new in the sense that Walt Disney was making animated short-subject films in a garage 100 years ago and relying on Universal, Columbia, United Artists, RKO, and the other big companies to distribute the movies. Walt Disney did not release his first feature until 1937. And, Walt Disney Productions did not distribute its own films until the 1950's. To this day, The Walt Disney Company is unique in that it is the only such organization to be founded by an artist. 100 years and still going strong. IDK what it is, but either the classics, or current offerings, it’s something about disney you can’t get from other studios that just for however long you’re in the movie, even if you’re old and an adult, it just makes you feel like you’re a young child again. it really makes you feel like you yourself are the princess or princess, and that dreams really do come true.
