We were supposed to stay in POFQ in September... I have since lost my job due to the pandemic.. we are now staying here. To say I’m upset is an understatement. This was a trip we have been planning for 2 years... I know there are worse things going on in the world and we are still blessed to be able to go. But it still breaks my heart. At least this hotel will entertain my toddler! She’s watching with me and screaming about Toy Story!

I'm going there at the end of February, I've stayed there many times before, same with Pop Century, I like it more than All Star Movies and Sports, because I'm not a big fan of sports, I love movies, but there are some movies I'm not entirely fond of, but I like all kinds of music, so it doesn't matter which building I stay in the resort, and I like the food they serve, most of it anyway

Wonderful tour! We'll be there this October. Do you think the pools will be open then? I know one of the other All Star resorts will have theirs closed.

Thank you! If Disney has any resort renovations scheduled they will post it on the website when you book it months and a year in advance. So if it wasn't there when you booked I would say your probably good. Also staying at the All Star resort you have access to all 3 of the all star properties. Thanks for watching! 😊

How were the blankets and pillows? Were they thick enough to stay warm and lay on or would you suggest bringing something more comfortable?

Hi Jeremy, I thought they were comfortable, they aren't overly thick but they kept us warm. Every disney resort room automatically comes with a spare blanket and pillow. If you find that you need more you can always call housekeeping and they will bring you more. Thanks for watching 😊

I loved your tour! Really informative and detailed. Me and my family are doing our first visit in November for our kids birthday's. Does all star movies do in room celebrations? Also, I noticed there wasn't a microwave and several available in the food court. Can you let me know what the hours of operation are? I get the feeling we may use them for pop tarts, etc. Thank you in advance!

Thank you so much Melina! All star movies is a great choice! There aren't any microwaves in the rooms, but I do believe you have 24 hour access to the ones in the food court because that is where the refillable drink station is as well. I'm not 100% on that, but I'm pretty sure. If not the the hours are 6am to midnight. Thanks for watching, have a magical trip😊

I'm staying at this resort in April. I am booked for the Love Bug Section thinking the walk would be shorter to the bus but you mentioned using the Music resort bus.. Do you think it is better to stay in the Mighty Ducks section for the transportation alone? I noticed how far the front is for the bus transportation compared to where the Love Bug section is? It's ok using the Music resort bus and I think you mentioned eating at the Music resort also? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance. Can't wait for my visit.

Thanks for the great questions! I personally liked have the option of using either resort transportation especially at the end of the night coming back to the resort. You'll have to look at the wings of mighty ducks section to see which one is closer to music, but the room we were in would have been comparable to a preferred room at music. All the all star resorts are sister resorts so it is absolutely ok to use their facilities and transportation. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for watching 😊

@@AH-ly1nn they do have a different bus schedule, sometimes the buses go to both resorts sometimes they don't, so that would be a gamble. I found that the music resort seemed less busy though.

There was no microwave in the room, but there are microwaves and toasters available for use in the main food court. I really enjoyed this resort and all the rooms are upgraded! Thanks for watching Naki 😊

Haven't been to Disney since 2017 and last time I stayed was in Disney all star music but for Disney all star movies can I choose what area? My nieces love toy story

To reserve a Toy Story room you have to be sure you booked a preferred room. Standard rooms will place you in either the love bug or mighty ducks section. To make a request to can fax in your room preference 5 days before. I personally use the website called Touring plans every trip to make my room request. I believe it's a $15 per year subscription but its totally worth it. Their room finder tool let's you look at all the room available under your booking and what the view out the from door is. @@Cwright94 I personally have never used the dining plan. My boys are 12 and 16 and it just never really made sense. It depends on what you really want. With kids that young it would seem from my experience one kids meal and your adult meal would probably be enough food to share, or even 2 kids meals, it's a Disney counter service hack that you can order kids meals at counter service then that includes a drink a snack and the dish! If you wanted to save more money you can also use a grocery delivery service for snacks and drinks to keep in the room and also to save money on food, drinks and snacks at the parks! Also good to have some emergency snacks on hand at the parks incase you need to distract a tired kid 😊

@@TheLynnProject yes I remember me and some friends spent a few days at Disney and I was always the one that had the backpack full of snacks, and beverages such as water bottles and power aid. Lol but yeah the adult meal sometimes filled me up so looks like dining plan is out

Hi Angela, congrats on your upcoming Disney trip! They do have a pool bar but no cabanas to rent. Also they do have daily activities by the pool like trivia and other fun games. When you check in ask for the resort activities guide and it should say it on there everything that's going on during your stay including movies under the stars and pin trading events. I don’t really want the herbie buildings to be renovated. Because once they renovate one they’ll renovate all of them and the nostalgia and old Disney as we know it will be gone😭It’s our job to keep the old Disney alive and educate the kids in my opinion🤷🏾‍♀️

Great video...staying here in June and this was very helpful. Random question did you feel like the shampoo/conditioner in shower was good, kept full and sanitary? Last time we stayed we have the individual toiletries. Just wondering if I should bring my own stuff.

Thank you so much! I have almost always had a good experience with the in room toiletries, and they are quality products. There was only one time that one of them broke, but had I called I'm sure they would have come to fix it in minutes like they did with the vanity light at Caribbean beach. Hi! We're staying there in April over Spring Break...Will we be able to use the pools at All Star Music as well since its so close to Movies Resort? We usually stay at the Moderate resorts so this is our first time trying out the Budget ones...your review has been very informative!

Hi Yves! The all star resorts are all sister resorts so it shouldn't be an issue. Usually pool hopping isn't allowed but since these are all grouped together as all star resorts I don't see why it would be a problem. Thanks for watching 😊

how are the busses coming back from the parks late at night? I am considering movies for a trip next february with a 6 year old and a 2 year old so a stroller will be involved.

My personal experience was good. I stayed in mighty ducks section so sometimes when all star music bus was less crowded or showed up first, we'd hop on that on instead and it was a closer walk from the buses. So that is another option 😊

Yes, everyone can use them. I highly recommend doing that if you want to save some money on food. I always do that. Microwave breakfast sandwiches and lunch meat and cheese for sandwiches as well. Thanks for watching 😊

We had a great experience with the bus system here, but I also double dipped (hack) I stayed in the very end of the mighty ducks section which happened to be closer to the all star music transportation and lobby, so I just chose whichever one was faster or shorter at any given time. We've never stayed at an All Star. We tend to do always do Pop. It looks very similar though!! What is the bus system like though?? Are there multiple stops between resorts?

We had a very good experience with the buses actually! It was really the first time we used the buses the whole time and had it was good. Most of the time the buses only went to one of the all stars and not all 3, unless it was a late bus coming back with very few people on it.

I'm just wondering how you found the noise level in this hotel? We stayed at AoA earlier this year and enjoyed how quiet it was....hoping for the same with All Star Movies. Thanks so much! You'll love it and remember you have access to those other all star food courts in walking distance if you get board of the food there. I found the room noise in the area we got (mighty ducks) was very low. Never heard our neighbors or people walking. The room we got was basically like having a preferred room at Music, as we mostly used their buses. If you have any further questions feel free to ask! 😊
