Disney Censored "Joy to the World" Lyrics in "Godmothered" Movie

Disney has censored the lyrics of "Joy to the World" in Godmothered on Disney+. They cherry-picked lyrics from verses 1 & 4 in order to strip out any reference to The Lord (who, in case you forgot, is the entire subject of the song). Do you think this is ok? Let me know down below.

This isn’t okay. The whole song is about our Lord and Savior whom the holiday is all about. It’s like they’re trying to wipe him out.

I think if they don’t like the words they shouldn’t use the song. Censoring a Christmas carol is pretty low. But I don’t expect much from Disney really. A combination of fluff and modern moral standards where the highest virtue is tolerance. Tolerance of everything except the values that founded the US and Canada.

@@dawgold yeah! If the mention of religion makes them uncomfortable they should use a different song. This isn’t ok, and I hate that they are censoring Jesus Christ
