I feel like this era of Disney was more personal. They had those little commercial bits with the actors and behind the scenes shots. Maybe they still do that, but these are just so charming and at least feel less forced.

Early 2000s Disney will always be the best Disney Channel,We got to watch Even Stevens,That so Raven,Cory in the House,Sonny with a Chance,Suite Life of Zach and Cody,Jonas,Hannah Montana,Wizards of Waverly Place,and Suite Life on Deck. Growing up on early 2000s while watching Disney Channel certainly was an experience.

I feel like they’re not monetizing it well. They have the throwback categories on Disney+ but they should let you shuffle shows and movies from a specific time without having to choose yourself. It would give that feeling of cable.

I was nine in 2009 and it was just one of the best years of my life. No REAL problems, other than my sister ate the last go-gurt and wouldn’t come out from the bathroom soon enough for my to press play for a new episode Hannah Montana. It was such a time, because now I’m 22 and about to become a credentialed high school teacher in May. I’m actually crying.

bruh i swear 2009 was seriously one of the BEST years of disney channel NO ONE can tell me that it wasn't i was 17 about to turn 18 graduated high school started college and had the best summer of my life i remember going to see the jonas brothers movie with my very special friend (rip 😢) and going to their concert months later and had the best time of my life now i'm happily single at 30 and working 2 jobs man i'm telling ya'll if i can travel back in time and tell my teen self to NOT GROW UP IT'S A TRAP I WOULD DO IT IN A HEARTBEAT THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK MY CHILDHOOD

I remember recording my babysitter’s a vampire movie on VHS. I left it recording all night. That was 2010. I’m not sure where that tape is but if I can find it. The tape probably only holds about 2-3 hours of footage but still

2009 was awesome: Disney Channel was at it's prime, Daft Punk were still around and working on the TRON: Legacy soundtrack (work on Random Access Memories had started too), KZbin didn't have ads or a copyright system yet, Pokémon + Nintendo as a whole were at their prime quality-wise, and I started kindergarten that year :)
