@@alexdionisos Also if you look closely notice how some of the other characters have similar "holes". For instance I've seen photos of the "Cinderella" mice that have a net-like spot that's hidden in between their noses and their mouth

I don't know why they had to put a suit over mowglie's cast members. Because he's basically a kid in only orange underwear. But I guess it helps to avoid sunburns and helps with skin tones, but idk.

Darth Maul. A grown man wearing nothing but a groin cloth would still be terrible in America (where sexuality is considered too taboo) so you might as well cover it up even though its useless.

Artica Kennedy All face characters are aloud to talk. Though nowadays they are expected to learn the characters speech patterns and sound sort of similar.

Artica Kennedy more than likely. i think he'd only be in parades, rarely, and if so he'd be silent. All the princesses I met have had soft voices and just tries to relate things to their story and act like the character. I think Tina casted girls have to have a bit of a southern accent, and that really is probably it for the face characters.

I suppose the more human-like characters would look kind of odd and even creepy if they were kept silent, the more "cartoony" characters can get away with expressing only with gestures because their movement is much more “animated” as well as their faces, the human characters are expected to mostly look, act and talk like humans, so with characters speech patterns and the type of voice they are expected to have (soft, deep, charming etc..) they can get away with it (as long as they are not singing I guess) plus aside from the usual , hello and goodbye and maybe a recognizable phrase, they don’t tend to talk a lot.
