Our cruise has two days at Castaway Cay and today is our first day there! We spend the day enjoying the island, and then we hop back onboard for Pirate Night! We cap off the night watching fireworks at sea right from our own balcony!

Jessica the easiest way to remember left and right is port has the same amount of letters as left. So right would be starboard. Fore and aft is FORward and AFTer. Such fun vlogs. Love them!

A few reasons why they may leave port and "sail around" during the night - to let out the waste water while also taking in fresh water for purification, they may have to be going a certain speed. On the NCL Encore they need to be going a minimum of 6 knots to be able to exchange water. Also I wonder if the Bahamian government may have rules that restrict them from overnighting, like sales tax implications, etc. No casino on Disney so that isn't it but maybe there is something along that idea! It would be interesting to know.

The ship left port so that alcohol could be served. There are laws about that in some places so they have to go 3 miles out, but also to make certain everyone stays on the ship overnight.

Everything looks great, but if I had to knit pick, I'm kind of disappointed that the decor is not more disney-like. The only thing screaming disney are the workers.
