Something is definitely wrong with the algorithm. My “Pumpkin King” snap was middle of the road and super safe, and got 900. My “Employee of the Month” snap was literally just me giving up. I’m not facing the camera, Sully is glitched through the floor, I was just done with the challenge… and I got 4000 moonstone and top 2000. Something is really not right. -Sprinkles

I spent an hour on the dreamsnap challenge the week before making a snap I loved and ended up with 600 moonstones and it pissed me off. For the employee week I put zero work in and ended up with 1500. I used no Monsters inc stuff, did no decorations, only wore the chefs outfit and hat, and took the shot inside the restaurant as if I was serving patrons. This game makes zero sense.

*Himfanlu's* snap getting 900 is a total ROBBERY🤯 It might be a bit busy but in a good way + the character is clearly visible. Definitely didn't deserve to rank that low. The results are all over the place this time, even more then usual🤷 As usual this week had some amazing snaps. My favourites are snaps from *Barefoot Dreamer* - Love the pink room, pretty unique. *Dona* , *Princess* , *Mads* , *TIFfANY* & *Kalinn* . All of them are amazing snaps! ...& my favourites from the are snaps from *NAMI2* - character's hair looks like it glows. *Pixellect* - Teacher of the month with Vanellope *Blue Lotus* - it might be a bit off theme but it's a gorgeous snap! *Mr StarInSky* - your sbap totally deserved the 4K it's amazing Some of my other favourites are sbaps from *Ash_icecream* , *ArcaneFox* , *Nautilus* , *Serendipity* & *Mellowstepp*

A lot of good submissions. I just think with dreamsnaps it has more than one criteria you have to meet. You can fill one criteria and leave out the rest, such as tags for instance. This challenge was for outfit, and I saw a few great submissions but tags were mediocre. Finding that sweet spot that hits all the criteria that's expected and trying to figure out what the voters want to me is the hardest part of the challenge. We know few things they want, but I think we'll never know precisely from week to week because it's so subjective.

this is definitely one of the worse weeks for most of us in dreamsnaps. I myself got 1500 but I liked the room that I created - it was Monster Inc. themed room with galaxy wallpaper and tons of Monsters furniture + I got the yellow pants and blue horns on my head = which in my head fulfils the requirements for the challenge, but that's okay. I hope to score better tomorrow because I loved my pink room for slumber party challenge 😍😍

the realm shot results were mind blowing, but tbf if people voted like me, there were alot of off theme photos. so even realm photos I would vote over one that wasn't office themed and just monster Inc theme

I genuinely think, in the couple seconds it takes to vote on a snap, many people don't actually realize something is a realm shot. They see items that we ourselves have access to (the chairs, filing cabinet, water cooler etc) and just assume it was all put together by the person. It would be an easy mistake to make if you haven't actually visited that realm in a long time and don't really remember all the details of it. This isn't knocking people who use realm shots at all, but I do believe this is why so many realm shots can reach so high, whereas player built backgrounds might not do as well.

3:10 If we're talking decorating rooms or just the corner of a room for dreamsnaps - I don't know how many people do this but I always find myself using around 3/4 of the room, never the entirety of it but this way it turns out better in the pictures I think

I got 1500 for this week and I took it in the realm as a last minute entry so wasn’t expecting much. I don’t get hung up on results though. Some weeks I put a lot of effort in and get less than the weeks I put little effort. I just enjoy the process of creating the set up and leave it to the universe. I’m happy to get free moonstones. Many players only vote for the minimum to get the 50 and they might only see basic entries. I rarely see the really high ranking pics in my selection when voting. I don’t always vote for the busiest shots either myself. Some entries have too much going on and too much bling that it hurts my eyes. Sometimes less is more.

I got 1200 I was not surprised. I did finely get my hyena cave yesterday in scrooges' shop so I am happy about that. Now I am after daisy dresser, and I will have everything.

Personally, I think the only thing should matter for an outfit challenge is the outfit. So I will go and use back frogs from around the game instead if one matches.

I agree with you. Now often than not, I don't see anything remotely good while voting. When it comes to busy shots, they sometimes are too much and can be difficult to read, especially because I vote fast and only see the thumbnails.

I also thought I had a more risky submission being outdoor, and really different from the others, more like the vibe of Lis Sai but got rank 104, seeing all the great submission that got robbed. I did love my shot though so really happy people liked it. Weird week this one!

I got 600. Its crazy i used what i had. I did it in scrooge shop with monster inc hat and stuff with sully. I hardly get any moonstone. I use what i have and stay on the theme

To be fair Scrooge shop wasn't the best place for the theme, usually pov shots don't do really well, making a simple room or outside decor is usually better, doesn't have to be super fancy

I’ve said before, it’s all about the tags and the snap being seen. If the algorithm doesn’t show your snap it won’t get the votes, plain and simple.🤷🏼‍♀️
