Absolutely love this update except for the shop I think it's quite expensive personally. If you do the $50 for 14,500 which I think is the cheapest per moonstoned you're paying like $11 for the castle.

I kinda wish they would let us use our smaller chest to craft the bigger ones. Overall I'm loving the update. Almost freaked out a bit though my gem chest was not in the place I left it. I haven't played with the designs yet. Sadly I haven't gotten a moonstone chest with 50 in it 😕 just gave me 10. I was super happy to see scrooge had stuff in the shop again. Mine has been quite empty until now lol

I just logged in the day after the update and I got 50 moonstones from a blue chest. So, the ones that already spawned before the update give you 10 moonstones.

Minor changes I noticed so far is that Donalds House Boat now has a motor sound coming from it and while Fishing, there is now an audible whistle note every time you are supposed to catch it

I had to get the castle home but ...Good Gawd, I about fell over when I saw the prices in the new shop. YIKES. A little over $40 for 9 pieces of furniture!!! That is insane... and I'm a long time Sims EA player... so I know micro transactions... that is absurd even compared to EA standards. O.o I really wanted to throw some more money their way but not at those prices. Other than that SHOCK, loving the new update~

Me too ☹ and you can't decorate inside your house anymore if your decor items are maxed out in all the biomes. Before this update, you could still decorate inside your house if the items were maxed out outside. Not anymore. 😭 I'm salty.

I love the new update except that I can't use the vintage chest in the valley and other places😢 I had all my storage in the house but only put the Ventage chest by all my stalls that way I could unload my backpack when full and when they where both full I would go to my house and unload all and now I can't 😭

Well I found one complaint from the update. All my chest that were connected to my household inventory, have been removed from the biomes, near Goofys stalls. And now are “indoors” only. Edit: I’m referring to the dark chests that are interconnected and used for the “household” inventory. Not the lighter ones with their own inventory per chest. The ones I had of those are still outside. It’s just the dark household ones that disappeared. Sorry for the confusion.

@@rosesilver600 yes. I have the lighter ones still outside too. I use them for flowers sorting and sand. They have their own separate inventory per chest. I’m talking about the dark ones that are connected together through the household inventory. (Sorry for the confusion). I had one per biome near goofys stall. So I could mass dump as I was foregoing/mining and only need to go to my house once the chest inventory was full and my personal one was full. Then I’d have another dark chest (household chest) in my storage room. So I would sort them both (personal inventory & the dark chest). Into the proper chests in the room later. Instead of having to go every time my personal inventory was full. The dark ones are still interconnected as the household inventory. They just can’t be put outside anymore.

Anyone else having problems with feeding the critters after the update? It’s not working here. Also, vintage chest not allowed outdoors anymore? 😢 It was also mentioned in the update from the developers that we should be able to buy more at a time at Kristoffs stall. That didn’t work for me today. Maybe tomorrow, then… (Not meaning to be negative, it’s lots to enjoy as well, just not happy about stuff that isn’t working anymore).

@@rosesilver600 Yeah, I know. But I used several dark/vintage chests around the valley (1 in each biome). Had a system that worked well for me. Now that’s gone… :(

@@NinaS___ Yeah, I freaked out at first because I had one of those chests in each biome, I keep my seeds in them, but they were all gone. Check the storage section of your furniture menu though. you'll now have Dark Wood Vintage Chests which can only be placed indoors, and Light Wood Vintage Chests which are the same thing (and have the same inventory), but can be placed outdoors. I dropped some of those Light Wood ones where they used to be and I have my seed chests back

@@BadgerOff32 Found now the reason I didn’t know about the light vintage chests, is simply because I don’t have any. Not available at Scrooge’s store either. Might show up some time, but I have to make do without that feature for now. Not related, but I also really miss picnic tables. Wish both items were available for crafting. I don’t get any blueprints from Prince Eric’s table anymore either. Not one for days, maybe more than a week now.

Loving the update so many fab features. The only downside is that I think the premium currency is a bit overpriced hoping that the do some special offers intermittently otherwise I probably won’t be spending 😂

Speaking of doors, yes I can move our doors but I thought we could replace the doors. All my doors I had I don't see them in my inventory anymore.

@@kaylonni9574 you can. Click on the door, and hit replace. The other doors are now set up as “skins”. Then just select whatever one you want as the door. It’s the Same as the house has “skins” to change the house outside colours.

I personally do I think it's quite High. I think should be about half whatright now the castle for 3,750 moonstones works out to where you're paying a little bit $11 for that skin for your house that's like fortnite crazy prices.

Most the items you saw in store I have, they are not new, no new craftable furniture that I can see. But there is a new recipe. Some things got removed from indoors cuz the doors are now 4 squares lol. I got to move 3 of my characters to other roles so now mine is more balanced I was happy for that but well I got alot of dreamlight.

I also had to insta buy the castle because I mean you kinda have to right? Your suppose to be the leader/ruler of the valley living out your Disney Princess/Prince dreams so you kinda need the castle. Luckily I've been getting the moonstone chest each day, saving my moonstones that came with the game and haven't wasted them on buying the star path currency (just getting the base pass) so didn't have to buy anymore moonstones.

I have not had a reason to put in a bug report until now. I'm playing on PC and I didn't get any items in the bare spots in Scrooge's store. There are little piles of gold and a "no" sign on top of the pile. Oh and I forgot to mention my Christoff stall is empty. But they did manage to remove my vintage chest from it's outdoor spot.

I’m REALLY upset that the vintage chests are now only indoor! WHY!? I don’t understand their reasoning for that. To my knowledge, there are no other linked chests. I had a whole storage system worked out, and I used those linked vintage chests in every biome in combination with the regular chests. It was the easiest way to transfer items from outside to chests inside. I’m really not happy about it. Honestly, although bigger chests are cool, I’d rather keep things the way they were and be able to use the vintage chests outdoors like I was. Now my whole smooth system I had worked out and used for months is no longer possible. 😭

Looks like they changed them to indoor only so all the outdoor ones got added to your inventory. I actually just checked and seems the "Light Wood" ones can go outdoors and the "Dark Wood" ones are indoor only
