how do you actually make things worth while in this? not like just a random sandbox with some buildings. i want a race with ai drivers.

You can make teleports to secret areas, interiors of homes you can enter, you can make npc's do talking, you can make missions with those npc's, like battling enemies and such, there is alot you can do

But the game has been discontinued so it will be harder to find in certain stores, but you can order them online for a much cheaper price (and i mean way cheaper) Then when they first came out.
