What about water contamination in the area? Isn’t Haw river contaminated by the Apollo factory chemicals with probable human carcinogens?

Hello! Great question! The town of Pittsboro has documented on their website the steps they have taken to improve the water quality. You can even subscribe for updates. That information can be found at this website: pittsboronc.gov/514/Water-Quality-GAC. Today in Chatham Park, I know David Weekley is offering a reverse osmosis system standard in their homes to help put a buyers mind at ease about the water. I hope that information is helpful. Thank you so much for your quick response. I understand that they are able to remove the PFAs with the new water filtration system but over the last few months, there have still been instances of 1,4- dioxane making its way to the water from upstream. This is a human carcinogen that regular RO systems can’t eliminate. I see on the town’s website that they are gonna pursue legal action against Apollo chemicals. But given the lack of regulation in NC, I am not sure where we stand on this
