I was really scared of the internal bus loop when we stayed at Caribbean beach resort. But the secret is that the bus start running 60 minutes before early entry. There’s literally 4 families in that bus, it’s super early, but worth it!

Coronado is our FAVORITE & a top tier resort. Especially when it comes to food, we love that there’s so many options (even the food court is pretty decent!!). Everyone is not forced to one or two spots, so it’s spread out and not like your sharing your space with everyone else at the resort. We love it and can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I just finished up our second adult trip staying at Coronado this past weekend (we are Floridians with passes and drive up to the parks every few weekends). We were in the tower on our first trip and we’re in the cabanas this past weekend. We absolutely love this resort. The food is AMAZING and the rooms are beautiful. Highly recommend. We will make this our go-to spot for whenever we come without the kids.

We’re staying here for some of our honeymoon. So I’m very happy for it because it looks so nice and I didn’t want and overly Disney room like I normally do. So this is perfect for us. I honestly feel like the only reason this resort does not have the deluxe price is because of the lack of transportation other than busses. The other deluxe resorts have boats, monorails, or sky liner. So it’s a pretty nice value for the money because it looks as nice or nicer than some deluxe!

Every time someone talks about fig jam, I wonder if they'll talk about wasps. Thanks, Alan! Not all fig varieties are pollinated by wasps, so many of the figs in US markets come from plants that can self-pollinate. In any case, any figs with seeds inside tend to be pollinated by wasps. Any crunchy things are seeds, as any wasp bits would be dissolved by a special enzyme. 🙂

I love Gran Destino at Coronado Springs. I have notice that the bus situation at the tower is not that bad; I've always gotten an empty bus first thing in the morning and made it to rope drop no problem. The tower is the last stop at the end of the night, but I would occasionally hop off at the first stop and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful resort at night, cause I didn't have enough steps already 😀 Anywho, I don't know about the other stops in the resort, but I've never had a full bus in the morning at Gran Destino. Also, even the quick service location has good food, the nachos were delicious. Eat All The Foods!

Coronado Springs -- Great Resort!! We celebrated our anniversary in June of 2022 (& WDW honored our occasion by placing 50th anniversary banners EVERYWHERE we went!). There's TONS of "hidden Mickeys" everywhere in the Gran Destino Tower. We had a fine nice dinner at Toledo and also dined at Rix and El Mercado. Beautiful grounds, impressive architecture, & upscale rooms made for a great experience. Our only disappointment is that we didn't get the opportunity to dine at Three Bridges. The resort is very close to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. We'll definitely be going back to this resort.

We stayed here in Feb 2020 and loved it! Definitely agree with the tip to take a ride share in the mornings. We took Minnie Vans which are pricier (especially now) but even with that added expense it was still far cheaper than any of the deluxe resorts.

Oh, y’all are making me miss Coronado! We had the lamb and scallops at Toledo, it was the BEST food. I was stunned bite after bite. We had the gran gin tonic, best huge cocktail in beat glass, and at 3 Bridges the wings, lamb, and smoked feta salad. I can’t stop thinking about all the food!

Alan palette is maturing, you can’t be A good chef if you don’t like olives and I’m glad to see that he likes olives. Loved this resort and tower!!! The vibe and decor is definitely my fav out of the resorts. Certainly would stay here again but my kids wouldn’t appreciate it at their young age. So maybe again when do an adult only trip. The espresso at the bar is dynamic and is a must try!

I fell in love with the combination of lemon and chocolate years ago in Europe and it’s just so hard to find in the States. We stayed there two years ago - was very nice. Only problem is when the buses came back from the parks you have to be very vigilant because there are LOTS of stops within the Coronado resort and a few times we missed our stop and had to wait for the bus to go all around to all of the other stop.

The tower is beautiful! We stayed there right before Covid and were on the 12th floor. There was a 7 am fire alarm and we had to walk down all those flight's of stairs. That was the only downside. But the room was gorgeous and we loved the tower part of the resort!.

I mean, how can we don't ? We just stayed there starting Black Friday! I would stay again sans kids and in tower not casitas. hubby wanted just a bit more Disney themeing. The non tower rooms need some tlc. Quick service El Mercado is meh, but table service and lounge great. Staff super friendly and helpful.

I love the Gran Destino! Definitely my go to resort since it opened in 2019 I was just there for nine nights the Saturday after Thanksgiving so I just barely miss you guys! Had a wonderful stay every time I walk back into the resort after a long day, in the parks, I would say oh my gosh this resort smells so good! Love the three bridges restaurant. Love the bars this is such a beautiful resort, but we need to keep it a secret.🤐💕
