I will always be a Vintage Disney fan. The new stuff just doesn’t have this untouchable magic. Maybe it’s because I grew up with it, or maybe Disney really has lost its spark, but I get the feeling that nothing they make now will instill this sense of comfort that still tugs at my heart strings to this day. Princess and the Frog was the last official Disney movie that ever truly gave me this feeling. I hope that I’m wrong.

You know, I asked myself for the longest time too whether the magic was lost, or if I just grew up. And I have concluded, without a doubt, that it's Disney who changed more. It's undeniable these days, their movies are in creative decline, they're playing it too safe. When you try to appeal to everyone, you appeal to no one. Plus, they have clearly forgotten Walt's mantra of "I do not make films primarily for children. I make them for the child in all of us, whether we be six or sixty.”
