I’m only 17 and I remember watching these classics on VHS when I was little at my grandmas house and I had this habit of not rewinding it after I watched it and so when I went to watch it the next time I had to sit there and either manually rewind it or I had to sit there and hold down the rewind button and it always felt like hours of rewinding but it was only o few minutes lol. Then we got flooded and they had to throw all of it out and I just miss those simple days of sitting at the box tv and watching it and drinking m chocolate milk from my Disney sippy cup while my grandm and grandpa where watching the news in the next room and I could hear their rocking chairs. I miss it so much.

I listen to this every single night before bed to calm myself, it just shows me how stressful modern life is and that is both in being an adult and living in this day and age. The adverts give me instant anxiety and it highlights how overstimulating everything is. Imagine if films and songs were still so soft and slow…I feel so lucky I was a child in the early 2000s, just before it all changed 💛 and here I am still trying to fill my life with these gentle things!! I know this is supposed to be nostalgic and nice but all I can imagine is me in a coma. I’m in a long hallway of doors and I’m trying to find where the sound is. Each door I open leads to a empty room with another door inside. I can hear the songs get either slightly louder or faintly quieter with every door I open. I just want to hear the music in the same room but I feel like a mouse in maze only realizing whoever put me in here, keeps making the maze longer only for me to be trapped in here forever. It’s only my interpretation of when I listen to “‘music playing from another room” it’s fun but also mind trippy.
