I remember watching this a few days after Xmas that year. I’m 30 now and this was the last time it truly felt like a parade broadcast. I still watch on Xmas morning just so I have something to do before breakfast and opening presents. That opening with Neil is something not even the Hough siblings can top. I also love Ne-Yo, Demi Lovato, Teen Beach Movie and Dove Cameron’s performances.

Probably in my opinion this was the last great parade before things got crappy. Please Disney go back to making the Christmas day parades great with less singing from all those singers i don't even know and go back to adding more parade. Make the xmas day parades great and fun again like this one here. I think this had to be their best Christmas parade. After that I stopped watching the parades every following Christmas. They've just become dull and seem to have lost their Disney magic. I want my kids to be able to look forward to watching the parades every Christmas and have fun, unlike the parades we're seeing today. What happened Disney?

yeah? what happened? honestly, I think Disney should start their Christmas parades with a musical number just like Neil Patrick Harris did. He started the parade in true Disney fashion. Musical style!

I agree 100%! I still watch the show on Xmas morning for the hosts and whoever sings. But as someone who’s made the parade a viewing tradition since 2006/2007, I feel bitter the parade and the music don’t get equal focus anymore.

Dana Abel I know what you’re saying but instead of putting it that way, the Disney code for saying that “I played one of the characters” is “I was friends with one of the characters” because If kids accidentally hear it they’ll still think that whoever the character is is still real.

That’s because the Walt Disney World Christmas parade is extremely important during this time of the year. And it’s very traditional for everybody who grew up in the state of Florida. It’s very true!
