Everyone has the right to their own opinions, of course, but it's so sad how disliking or even hating Disney's live action-movies seems to be almost some kind of trend nowadays. Sure, there are some things in animation that are hard to accomplish in this kind of form, but it is natural, and I think it is great that the new interpretations have been made so that more and more people can enjoy them over the generations. I really love most of them and find the additions and most changes they made very intriguing and fitting, especially when it comes to these heroines. Sorry about the rant, the point is that this beautiful edit reminded me even more of how inspirational they are. Thank you for making this.

Agree to disagree but I feel like Disney's done more than miss some aspects of the animations, they've missed the themes and plots that made them so compelling. Mulan, for example, is now just a Strong Female Character fighting misogyny. She has no internal conflict, no development, nothing that made the animated character so beloved. The new Snow White is not white, there are no dwarves, and it's not about love anymore. It's essentially the ship of Theseus, with nothing but the title connecting it to the original animation.

@@laila5946 Agreeing with you about those two films, though. I have not watched the live action-Mulan fully, but from what I've seen, I think it is the worst one so far. And based on what I've heard, I will skip the new Snow White and stick with the animated one and some older adaptations.
