I still have a book that i had purchased back in 1971 the year the park opened. They sold them in there gift stores it shows the construction of the park.. I wish I saved more of what I had gotten over the years going to the park.

Disney Channel started on April 18th...my birthday. So On my birthday I bought myself a 20th Anniversary Walt Disney world cel. It was in 1991. It hangs in my Art room. 🎨

I miss it so much!! I heard they got rid of it because it scared kids, but it's still at Disneyland? 🤔 Is The Haunted Mansion next to go? I would be furious. Thank god I was a 70's/80's kid. It was the absolute best time period. I personally think Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is overrated. I wasn't impressed.

@@brittneyadams8436 yeah I know it's at Disneyland in CA. I haven't been to CA in decades, but keep up on Disney stuff. I wish they would have kept it at Disney World. There was no good reason to get rid of it. That's funny. I went to Disney World in February 2020, and came back in early March. Everything shut down a week later. I barely made it!

I have a few pieces of furniture from the Disney World hotels when were renovated A few years back. Most pieces have a touch of Disney whimsy and pixie magic. I bought 3 soft and comfortable green and orange armless chairs. I have a few more things but can't remember. They are used pieces in our home. I saw but didn't buy dressers that had iconic carvings.
