When my wife and I attended Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, (same meal as you all had) got two plates and shared everything, because there was just too much for one person. Loved it!!! One thing that surprises me, somewhat ... Joffrey's doesn't have a specific coffee for this restaurant. Speaking for myself, a really like a nice dark roast with a rich dessert. I wish I had taken down the name of our server; wonderful, and, as it turned out, from Peru, which was significant to me because that is from where my father emigrated. Another thing I didn't get was the name of the Founding Father whose name was attached to the room in which we ate. Because I was This Video Old when I learned about that aspect of the Tavern. We did not sing anything from HAMILTON! because, when we were there, HAMILTON! did not yet exist. If we find ourselves there again, that will be rectified, because we both love HAMILTON! I have noticed that going off-hours is the best time to go to any Disney restaurant; we walked into 50's Prime-Time Cafe at around 2-ish and only had a 5 to 10 minute wait to be seated, despite not having a reservation. Thank you for this video; it was a delightful reminder of our trip.

I had a waiter at Garden Grill breakfast, BJ, who was the same way. He actually told us how glad he was that we took our time because as he said, “You paid a lot of money to eat here and most people just rush in and try to get out fast.” He was always so happy to get us more when we asked and 2 hours later when we finished our meal he was just as happy to still see us. Those are the cast members I am so thankful I get to meet. I made sure to ask for the manager on duty to let her know how much he made a bad day turn around. I truly feel the waitstaff make or break your dining experience.

During Christmas The Diamond Horseshoe is a really nice alternative. It was decorated for Christmas and really just beautiful inside!

This is our family’s favorite restaurant! There is something for everyone. Even the vegetarian platter isn’t bad. I cook the meal on Thanksgiving, and Christmas, so there is just something lovely about having this “holiday” meal cooked for me no matter what time of year it is. Also, there is a single bathroom downstairs if someone needs one that can’t go up steps. Thanks for the great review.

I really like Liberty Tree Tavern. Like you said it’s normal “comfort food” BUT it’s a good break from the normal park food like hamburgers and chicken strips. And it’s good food. Not spectacular, but good. We also like the Crystal Palace which is a buffet with similar food but with a more options. Plus it has the Pooh characters. Great vlog!

Hi Deni and Brian! Great video! I dined at Liberty Tree back when it was still a menu-based restaurant about 35 years ago. I still remember I had "The Pilgrim's Feast". Anyway, knowing that it is an All You Care To Eat establishment now, I was surprised at the, uh, format. I expected more of a, "Here's your plate, there's the food." kind of a thing. Think, Cici's Pizza. So my question is, how much can you specify what is served? For example, "Hi I'd like no salad, 3 servings of turkey, no green beans, just 2 rolls, etc." Can you be that specific or do they give you what they give you without your input?

We dined in 2008 when our boys were little and it was still a character meal. Food was pretty much the same except I don't believe the dessert was that toffee cake, it was some kind of cobbler. The atmosphere really is fantastic! Very consistent meal and lots of things that a 3 and 5 year old would eat without putting up a fight so we liked it a lot!

I love that you were able to walk around the empty resturant at the end of the night and show all the different rooms with their unique details. As for that toffee cake that I SWORE that I would hate because I am NOT a toffee fan....oh my word....delicious. I am a changed woman LOL

It is one of our favorite places to eat evetime we go there a weeks vacation we were there in January and will defiantly book this restaurant again in January 2925 and by the way we love the turkey the pork i don't eat :-)

I took my kids about 17 years ago. We really liked it, I didn’t like the mac and cheese. Cake looked 100 times better than ours and we had to share between the three of us, not very good. They definitely improved on that dessert by the looks of yours. The turkey was surprisingly moist and very good. I would like to go back. Great review.

The stuffing and mashed potatoes especially! Last time I was there I even had a Pineapple Dole Whip Float! Soooo good 😍. But you’re right about it being very noisy hahah. I guess it comes with the territory lol

This is a family favourite for us! Although I don’t care for the toffee cake. Thanks to a recommendation from Chef Al ( I have an uncommon allergy) I now order the vegan dessert because it’s less sweet and actually really good. I also really like the stuffing and turkey.

We did it for the first time last year on Thanksgiving day. We normally do Skipper Canteen and also usually a late lunch at Steakhouse 71 on our trips but this time we thought we might as well try it since we were there on Thanksgiving day. My daughter was vegetarian so she had some different options. I think the best thing I had was the stuffing. She thought the Sticky cake was best and I probably ranked that second. I don’t think we will go back. Had good service considering the day but we thought the food was just ok

Hi. I enjoy your videos. Liberty Tree was always a must do for us until they got rid of the ala carte menu. I always used to get the pilgrim’s feast, which was a lot of the same foods as the all you can eat but it was half the price it is now. I can only eat one plate of this food because it’s so filling. My husband used to get the burger they had. For us, it is no longer worth the price.

Hi Deni, the price is too high for what you get at Liberty Tree. I have eaten there in the past when the price justified the meal but we were too stuff with a heavy meal and stop going when we visited the parks especially in the summer months.
