I don’t know a lot about primates, but when you’re talking about the ape at the end of the video eating some of the box, I do know that chimps will store fibrous materials in their cheeks and chew on it for hours, so this might be a similar thing. Lots of primates have cheek pouches and will store a wide variety of things, food, or objects in there, and yes, that can include poop. Also, if it doesn’t have a tail, it’s an ape, not a monkey. I think mandrills are the largest monkeys that have tails short enough to make you think they are apes.
