Growing up I always got a chocolate orange in my stocking too! We called them "whack oranges" because you smack them on the ground/table to break apart the segments haha One of my favorite flavors for sure, and super nostalgic!

Visited Disney World for the first time since spring of 2001 last week, and we certainly didn't plan on being there during Festival of the Arts, but we LOVED being at Epcot for that festival. Sadly didn't try much of the food but we got to enjoy a lot of the art and enjoyed the fun classic art photo ops.

Ahh! I was there on Monday and popped in yesterday. I’m so sad to learn that I missed seeing you both! This was the final EPCOT Festival I hadn’t been to and it’s now officially my fave. I didn’t buy art but I did buy a ring from the same booth where you showed the Chip & Dale metal art. My favorite food item was the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I’d had so much sugar that day and it was freezing cold that nothing hit quite as hard as that soup at the end of the day. The carne asada was good, and the natilla de maiz. My real favorite was the AP frozen lavender lemonade at Regal Eagle but I don’t think that’s technically part of the festival.

World showcase was built before mgm (hollywood) studios, so when designers came up with the tower of terror they took into consideration the sightline from epcot, so they chose the exterior style and colors to blend seemlessly into the Morocco area of world showcase! makes me really miss the appreciation and details disney took to maintain sight lines and to keep the asthetics!

Had the pleasure of being at Epcot for the very FIRST day of the VERY FIRST Festival of the ARTS (which was, somewhat ominously, on Friday the 13th of January, 2017!) and was a little unsure just HOW this all would work…but was BLOWN AWAY by just HOW Different an experience it was from the other Festivals!….So very glad this Festival has grown and Thrived (and developed ALL THE LOVE FOR THE MIGHTY FIGMENT!!) and will FINALLY GET TO ATTEND ANOTHER ONE Next year in Early February!

If you want a good egg tart, you'll have to go to Jim's Bakery in Monterey Park, CA. It's been featured on many food shows/vlogs and even mentioned on the Brothers Sun series. My wife likes the Portuguese Egg Tarts there and I prefer the HK style. If you like curry, the beef curry pastries are top tier.
