Disney's Contemporary Resort Review: Everything You Need to Know! 🏰✨

Just found your channel and binged through ALL the Contemporary videos you put out!!! We will be staying for the first time next year and SO excited to try it out and appreciated all this wonderful information! We are not regular Disney vacation guests, and the only other time my Husband and I have gone together we stayed off site. So when we decided to go again, we figured go big and stay here as it has always been a dream of my husband since he was a kid!! (Also, so glad I found your channel, I love how you provide all this information and you are so relatable and easy to listen to!!!)

The Contemporary has long been my "dream" resort to stay at. The closest I've gotten so far is Bay Lake Tower, where we're planning to purchase DVC sometime in the next couple of years; I'm excited for the refurb at Bay Lake, but I do still hope to someday stay in the main Contemporary tower! I think something important to consider with the Contemporary is transportation - yes you have the monorail, but when we stayed a couple of years ago we assumed we'd have to go to the TTC to get transportation elsewhere. Why? I have no idea, LOL, but there wasn't obvious information available that the Contemporary DOES have buses too! So I think it's important to ensure guests know that the buses DO come for Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs!

We are passholders from the Tampa area. The Contemporary is our go to for Magic Kingdom days especially if we want to stay for fireworks, try for the Tron VQ or take advantage of the deluxe resort evening hours. The walking path is so convenient. We love the water view rooms in the Garden Wing. It is quiet, more affordable and has its own dedicated parking lot. Steakhouse 71 for lunch is one of our favorites.

Ok. . . I've got to ask. . . do you have a Steakhouse 71 "go to" that you'd be willing to share? We've got plans to grab lunch there one of these days and tough Russ already knows what he wants, I'm always looking for recommendations. 😄 Thanks in advance!

Talking about noise, how thin are the room walls at the Contemporary? We stayed at PO-FQ and could hear our neighbor snore. I would call those "cruise ship" thin.

Not thin at all. We didn't have ANY issues with noise from neighboring rooms and we did have families on both sides of us. The only issue we had was a few loud bangs coming from above us. I'm not sure what the situation was and it didn't last very long at all, maybe it was housekeeping? It was VERY quiet in this room though, overall.

They ruined it. The lobby is great, but they didn't put that style in the rooms..
