Hi Jenn, if you heat the wax with a hairdryer you can blot it with paper towel and it comes right off. Hope that helps, it does work I promise, my dog knocked a huge candle off a sideboard and the wax went everywhere!🤦‍♀️

I was stopping by to say the same thing. Place a paper towel on top of the wax and then use a hair dryer over the top and it will absorb the wax or heat up the wax with the hair dryer and gently blot with a paper towel. Might take a couple of hours but always has worked well. As a side note, candles can be super dangerous. My dorm in college went up because a student left a candle unattended for a short period of time. A gal I worked with a few years ago had a candle sitting on her kitchen counter and one of her children reached across it to grab something. Instantly the child’s shirt caught on fire and melted all over her entire upper and part of her lower body. She barely survived after months in the hospital and will have horrific scars for life among all the many skin grafting surgeries she will need and has had. Very sad experience. Wax warmers are so much safer. Just my two cents.

You can use your iron with a paper towel to absorb the wax off the walls and grout. Try using baking soda, lemon and soda water as a scrub if there are any stains after the wax is removed. Love watching your family's adventures and seeing your kids/family grow!

Don’t skip on those skewers in Morocco, they seem to have them nearly at every festival now - like they don’t go away and the chicken is char grilled and delicious. The mixed veggie salad that it comes on is excellent! The lamb is also super good!

We have a subscription to Universal Yums. Each month you get a box full of snacks from a different country. Supposedly the countries won’t repeat until after 3 years. We are also currently going through their “Around the World Advent Calendar”, a new candy each day leading up to Christmas! The twins LOVE it!

Spilled wax pro here.. aka… we did the same and it was even in carpet. We used a hair dyer on hot. I put paper towels over the wax, held the dryer to the paper towels and it absorbed it. Don’t do the heat in the cameras and electronics. Just the walls, floors, wood. A camera shop may be the best bet to getting that cleaned to be safe. And yes.. the house will smell fabulous for months !

If it’s a surface that can take heat, get a paper bag, cut it open and put that between the wax and the iron. The wax remelts and goes onto the bag instead. This method works great on carpets and fabrics too. But on low heat might work on the other surfaces.

For the wax, use a hairdryer to melt it and kitchen towel to soak it up. I had to do the same when my scentsy plug in got knocked off the wall!

And I found this off google… Use a blow dryer or heat gun to soften the wax. Wipe with paper towel. When you got as much off as possible, use a microfiber cloth with the hottest water you can stand to finish wiping. If color remains, try a mr clean magic eraser. If still remains and you are going to repaint, oil based primer first.

Hi Queen I might Be late to you having fixed it but when you dye with wax to remove if you place a fabric or tea towel over an iron and iron it the fabric will absorb most of the wax. Also I hope you weren't burnt badly

The was should just flick off the camera with your fingernail same with the floor. The wall texture looks painted so it may just pop off too. Don’t heat it or it will melt in. Cold is better and flake it off.

We get Universal Yum and it's perfect! We get the smallest box and it's plenty for me, my husband and our son to share. We just had a box from Greece and it was delicious, highly recommend. We also have their advent calendar and you get 4 pieces of candy each day from around the world.

Candle incident removal recommendation: Get brown paper bags or the like and put against wax. and then take a hot iron and iron. The heat will melt the candle wax onto the brown paper. Also, you can get the Panda treats at Five Below, etc.

To remove the wax, get some wax paper and an iron. Start with the iron on the 2nd LOWEST heat setting. Cover the splatters with the wax paper, then put the iron on top of the wax paper for 10 - 15 seconds, while keeping the iron moving and check the progress. The wax should be soft enough to come off of flooring and walls and stick to the wax paper. If needed, you can increase to the next heat level, then repeat the steps. This process avoided mopping up liquid wax and running a noisy hairdryer. Do not use this method on electronics.

Put newspaper over the wax and iron the newspaper, the wax will melt and absorb into the newspaper. Works on nearly all sorts of surfaces

This just happened to us on Thanksgiving. Sorry it happened to you! What worked for us was when it was dried scrape with the edge of a credit card. Then rub with a scolding hot microfiber rag. Good luck!

Put a dry paper towel folded in half or a paper dinner napkin on the wax. Use a hot iron on low and the wax will adhere to the paper then you can pull it off the wall. As a photographer, I’d take the camera to a professional. Or be very careful.

If you love candles it’s inevitable… worst time I had when one spilled in shag carpet. Ice bag helps in some cases too to chip it off. Felt your frustration! Sounds like you need another massage. Lol. Great excuse anyway. Much love.
