What a ridiculous disclaimer. You make it seem like there are ‘Bring back slavery’ signs on every corner. If people traveling to the area don’t have an understanding of US history, they’re not going to care about your disclaimer. Please don’t disparage the people of that area. Your claims of supporting local businesses is insincere when your choice of words potentially could achieve people NOT traveling to the area over something that happened over 100 years ago. Just wrong!

Right! So the entirety of the south isn’t “worthy” of visiting and we are all “unsavory” because of the past. I’m all for learning and being respectful, but geeze, it’s not like the north didn’t have its own problems.

Thanks for the advice but I do agree with @allisondelong6182 but I am on my way to see the resort myself
