Disney's Hollywood Studios 32nd Anniversary Tour - Filmed in 4K | Walt Disney World May 1st 2021

Disney's Hollywood Studios turned 32 yesterday! On May 1st 1989, the Disney MGM Studios opened at Walt Disney World. This park is so different now compared to when it first opened. I went to the Studios yesterday to take in the sights and sounds of the park and to celebrate its 32nd birthday! Unfortunately, there are no more opening day attractions at this park, so I decided to film a detailed tour for you all to enjoy instead of riding any of the rides. I spent most of my time at the front of the park(the oldest areas of the Studios). There are still so many awesome theming and details in the park from the MGM days, and I did my best to show you some of them in this video! I also included some evening/nighttime footage! The Disney MGM Studios was my favorite park by far and I will forever miss it, but I still enjoy the current version. This was all filmed on May 1st 2021

Yeah its a bummer not one opening day attraction remains. But the great theming and atmosphere continues. This park has come a long way in regards to rides. When I was younger I was like why all the shows but loved the Backlot Tour and the GMR. Thanks for the enjoyable tour 4K!

I have always considered this park a true work of art. Its distribution, streets , atmosphere, attractions and others. For me it is awarded such a title. Another of the great favorites and must-sees. Especially for the youngest of the family for the roller coasters. It’s nice to start the day with a good cup of coffee and a beautiful video like this one. Thanks again 4K WDW..Greetings 👋😃

Hours after taking my graduating year last final in 1990 I was on a plane and this was the first park I hit. I had only been to Disney once before in 1977 staying at the Polynesian when they only had the Magic Kingdom (and River Country). Hollywood Studios (or "MGM") was for years my favorite park. Thanks for sharing this.

That is awesome! I fell in love with this park immediately back when it was MGM. The park was perfect for me, since I am kind of obsessed with how movies are made and videography. I still like the park now, but back then it was a million times better for me. Thanks for watching!

I ❤️ Saratoga Springs & Spa. 🐎 Such beautiful grounds. It is like staying in a community of Disney fans. I enjoy a lovely meal at the Turf Club Grill. 😋 Do yourself a favor & plan a spa day & get a massage. We got our first massage as Senses Spa a few years ago, and now we get one every stay at SSR -- it is a divine way to start a WDW vacation. Have fun! Enjoy the newly renovated rooms!

Thank you Liz! Yea, I wish the Animation Studio was still open. It was always so cool to watch the animators work on the next Disney film! Yep, I will definitely film the Indiana Jones show as soon as it reopens! I never filmed the whole thing before the parks closed unfortunately.
