with the summer convention, some people went in line at 10:00am i got inline at like 11ish and it was supposed to open at 2, as per usual it didn't open at like 3 or 4. luckly i was at the start of the line and so it wasn't awful, but like i mean why can't things start on time? like seriously. I've never been to a pin trading event, but i've been to plenty of conventions, and that reminded me of one, just cause the line didn't start ontime, but tbf i feel like it's just that convention. There's another con i go to in that same place, and they ALWAYS Start on time. its strange (to me) but yea i would love to go to a trade, i only have a few to trade though, cause I just got into disney pins.

Hi!! Yea it was a bit crazy that the line to pick up the pre-ordered pins was so long and slow moving...we had designated time windows to pick up our stuff yet, it took forever.... Oh thats so cool that u just got into disney pins. The one tip i can give u is to not buy pins from ebay, and if u do, check out their reviews and never get "pin lots from ebay" because those tend to be "fake" pins.

Great job on the video Melissa! You really covered everything! It was great hanging out with you at the event and you got some amazing pulls of the boards! Can't wait for next year! Yea, the pin pickup line is always long, but 3 hours was a bit rough. Amazing you got the elusive Donald duck pin. When I was picking up my pins the cast member was telling me that pin sold out first on the RSP. What do you think of the new mickey gemstones on the newer pins?

Hey Travis!!! We had such a great time hanging out with you and going on our "pin missions" aka waiting in those long lines to try to hunt for pin treasures on the boards haha...Same, cant wait for next year's event!! I think the gemstone system is, in theory, a great idea. I don't necessarily like the look because its a bit tacky but, i appreciate what they are trying to do :)
