As a stock holder with Disney and someone who goes frequently, this fast pass thing is a massive money grab and is sick, Disney is already expensive to the point I could go to Alaska fishing guides, food, lodging, for the week is almost cheaper than a Disney trip that’s insane. You’re pricing out low and middle class families which are the bulk of your guests. The solution to making money isn’t always charge more, delivering a quality product and service.

As someone who has visited Disneyland since 1965, I find it hard to ever go back with the current prices. Our kids are grown up and now they have kids but we are doing other vacations together. Our money goes much further and the grandkids don’t miss not going to a Disney park.

Lightening Lane: as an overseas visitor who pays £900/1,000 pp for flights then accommodation, car hire and food to pay for . I think the price for LL so expensive I can’t even think of purchasing. So I’m in the standby lane. After many trips in the last thirty years I won’t be visiting again😢

I will never pay it but it could be a good thing…. Hear me out. If Disney limits the amount of people that can buy a premier pass like they said they would, that could make standby times go down. I don’t remember the ratio but say it’s 20:1. If 20 lightning lane people are let in, 1 standby guest gets in. If less people are buying lightning lane, the standby line moves quicker. I think this is a test to see how many people will pay for this service. If Disney feels and sees enough people paying for premier pass, they may scrap multi pass and just use premier just like Universal does.

Premier pass is a good thing as long as they get rid of single and multi. Less people in LL will make standby fly by.

I would pay for the lower end ($120) for ease of not needing to book times to ride rides… I only get to go once a year (twice if I’m lucky) and will pay extra to get to do exactly what I want to do. Honestly, booking rides and needing to time everything is my least favorite part about my trip. But that price close to $440 is absolutely insane.

I took my son the week of Christmas every year. He is 20 now. 2022 was our last year doing this. Much better and relaxing vacations that you can take for the price. The hassle of it and for the price Disney wants to charge just doesn’t make sense for me anymore.

@winnie5873 it's awful isn't it? We were in a car accident in the afternoon, got taken to hospital to be checked over and given the all clear. Ordered a taxi and about 10/15 mins into the journey our taxi driver overtook am articulated lorry on a country lane in the dark, we had a head on collision with another car. Honestly struggling to comprehend all this has happened 💔

Hey Nate, i have been to NYC multiple times...the first thing i was told is never take a picture with any of the characters because they expect money and will become aggressive and intimidating if you don't give them enough ect. Especially to females...and Disney hates that they are trying to represent Disney characters in such an inappropriate manner.

I do agree with your take on the new lightning lane system. They should lower the price on it especially for passholders and have it be included not just for the deluxe resort guests but all of the WDW resorts. That will definitely give an incentive to people to want to stay onsite.

As someone who travels to Disney every year and stays at a deluxe resort each time I wish they would gift us the premier pass. We pay so much to stay at a deluxe because it’s convenient and gorgeous, but to then have to pay $600+ for my family to have the premier pass is wild!! Hopefully they find a happy medium!

The deluxe pass is crazy money especially for the magic kingdom. Universal has just rolled out a deluxe hotel that will be around 300 a night for a 4 night stay that includes front of the line. If Epic is a huge hit Disney better come up with a deal. $61.00 dollar buffets and 300 to 400 add on tickets plus expensive deluxe hotels isn't going to cut it.

Hi Nate! Glad you made it home safely from NYC! Tom from WDWNT broke the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass down on their vlog and website. The $449.00 pass will be for only Magic Kingdom. So on those high traffic days or holidays it's going to cost a fortune to park hop. Better to focus on just one park on those day I think. The lowest costing pass is for slow days at Animal Kingdom. I can see them eventually creating an all Parks Lightning Lane Premier Pass for a discount in the future. But it looks like you could spend over a thousand dollars per person on the 4 premier passes for one day if you wanted the ultimate choice! That's Crazy!
