@brittanyonlinedotcom Thats the parade your hearing, its not waiting music LOL. Sometimes you can hear the parade in a different area that its already playing if you are in the right spot. Your hearing the music from the parade units (floats). For some reason you dont really hear the introduction while waiting. I guess the units are louder then we think.

@jdh2006 towards the beginning of the run there was a small costume fire and the hats were one of the casulties

@sxymike12 It;s a good thing that those units are extra loud unless you like to listen to the repeating Baroque Hoediwn music blasting in your ears for 20 minutes LOL. That spot they are in now is bad you cant hear the units and that music drills on your ears and it takes a day to get it out .

@TEAM48JOHNSON It looks just like the spot I watched from, its by the breezeway between Adventure land and Frontier land. Across you should see the popcorn stand and small gift stand along the river.

We saw the parade on March 23, 2011 and loved it!! I wanna go back to the Magic Kingdom sooo bad!!!

The Main Street Electrical Parade Is 365 days a year and it starts at 9:00 pm with Fireworks @ 10:00 pm They also have two showings of the parade on certain nights @ 11:30

Yo i do the samething, especially now that i dont live in cali anymore, i miss it, especially this parade, takes me back to when i was a kid, sitting on the curb wondering why im sitting here when i could be on rides, for like two hours and then BOOM YOU HEAR THE BEGINING of the announcement of parade, it stops my heart and i go back to the 80's, when the parade was in disneyland, before Cali adven and walt disney world

I noticed something. The parade was originally led by the Blue Fairy but now opens with Tinker Bell. However, among the four fairies in front of that float, the fairy leading them all is in blue. I wonder if that's a subtle shout out

Great video! But I noticed the music was already playing in another area before it started in your area. I was there a few weeks ago and I watched it from between the end of Main St. and Central Plaza (near the castle), and I was right in between the 2 audio zones, so I could hear certain stuff twice, such as the opening announcement. Did you stick around for the closing announcement and fanfare of lights? I also noticed that not many lights went out in your area after the opening announcement.

I love the electrical parade and seeing the blue fairy replaced by tinkerbell is rather disheartening while her theme continues to be used as the parade opener.

@redique This must have been filmed during the holidays. They have decorations that hang over Main Street USA, which would be low enough to hit the top of the clock tower (which is the tallest float in the parade). So, they just remove the top part of the clock tower during the holidays :)

@DisneyWorldTrips Yes, i recorded this in early January. Disney made an announcement last summer that the electrical parade would remain at Magic Kingdom indefinitely. I don't know how long it will stay there, so if you missed it this summer, at the moment, you still have a chance to see it.

I was just there this summer and this parade runs every single night (weather permitting) and some nights, it runs twice. This parade is on year round.

To my knowledge, it is year round. Or it was when I worked there a year ago. My suggestion would be to search the WDW resort website for accurate information. It really is amazing to see in person, I can't tell you how many times I watched this parade in a year... it never got old, I always noticed something new. :) Let me know if this helped!!

@TEAM48JOHNSON I don't remember the exact location, but I'm right around where the Frontierland Pin Teading store is. It's before you get to Pacos Bills, the quick food and beverage location. In the other direction is the River Boat ride. I hope that helps some. That was a great place to watch because most people want to see iti on Main Street, so the area is not crowded. It will take about 20 mins for the parde to get to you from the step off time. When are you going to Disney?!
