Was our favorite hotel by miles. Now we simply can't stay there because the gondolas are taking away from bus service. We're terrified of exactly those kind of heights situations if that makes sense. Now bus service is reduced and it's already a nightmare, and we were told bus service will be discontinued there all together within a year. So unbelievably disappointed. We are All-Star bound now 😫.

I hadn't heard that about the buses. Seems short-sighted. I thought the Skyliner was supposed to add more choices, but that doesn't sound like it. Seems to me there would be terrible back-ups, and when the system goes down (like it has plenty of times already, as you saw in my Skyliner video), then what?

@@AverageMe You're preaching to the choir! I thought all the same until they cut the bus service to once per hour (randomly). Then a park cast member (not from the hotel) told us the following "you don't see bus service at hotels where there is monorail service... the same will be true of the value gondola resorts within a year".

I'll be there August 13- 19 I got a preferred room I sure hope nobody takes the no cleaning service deal for ten bucks. Disney should clean the rooms. Im a infectious control nurse and that sounds disgusting to me. I get that it saves Disney 💰. But they are just asking for a bed bug outbreak. please clean the rooms. I 💘 your video well done😃😃😃😃😃

Thank you so much for the tour! It looks like you were on the top floor, so it may be hard to tell, but do feel there's going to be significant noise from upstairs with the new flooring? I haven't seen that mentioned in any reviews yet about the new rooms, but I'm wondering if that may be an issue. Thanks!

Not having been on a lower floor it's hard to say, but possible. It would make sense that carpeting muffles sound.

Great video! I am arriving August 1st through 12th. I booked a preferred room facing the Hippie Dippie Pool (Ground Floor). Do you know if those rooms are renovated? Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I think all 1960s rooms facing the pool have been renovated. You can call and ask, as Disney is very helpful in that regard. You might want to take a look at the Grounds video as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoSaaaqwp8ahotE

I'm not being picky, I'm merely pointing things out so people can make informed decisions. For example, at other Disney properties I have stayed at such as Contemporary, Polynesian, Grande Floridian, and even some rooms at the Art of Animation, there is no balcony entry so nobody walks past your window.
