I love how the show taught kids that it was okay to have different interests; Menlo doesn't like playing sports, but he tells them that he enjoys the fact they enjoy them. And they don't shame him for wanting to do paperwork and stuff, even though they find it weird.

The very panic he tried to prevent only manifested in the form of suspicious behaviour, making it look like everyone was trying to hide something. Remember, kids, always face the consequences of your actions, purposely and accidentally alike.

I mean with all the junk on the net, what wrong with watching this classic cartoon. It teaches you that own up to your mistakes. And also, people high up are not infallible or know what they are doing all the time. They make mistakes to. And this is a lesson I wish older people would learn and let stick. As long as no one got hurt and you prevent a panic/incident, just fess up. As well as not punish the guy who skewers up when nothing serious happen. Otherwise they are more likely to keep there lid shut and not fess up. I know the world isn’t black and white, I say it isn’t even grey but colorful. But even trying to implement this lesson in some aspect of life is better than not applying it at all.
