The wonderful world of Disney is home to some truly classic character archetypes. From princesses to villains, even if you’ve never seen a Disney animated movie before, you will still recognize it as them from these recurring character tropes. But out of all their archetypes, the most flexible may very well be that of the sidekick. These characters are in almost every single one of their films, but they change depiction greatly between them. They can be animal or human, good or evil, smart or stupid. The Disney sidekick is a very malleable archetype, but of Disney’s catalogue of sidekicks, which ones are the strongest, and which are the weakest?

Genie should be considered the most powerful, but I don't think he's really a sidekick. While not the main character of the Aladdin franchise, Genie is a main character who often helps save the heroes in many predicaments.

Not to mention that Tinker Bell's biggest weakness, is that if you tell her you don't believe in fairies, she's done for. Simple things such as words can kill her. This is proven in Peter Pan: Return To Never Land, as there's a whole arc about this.

Hey WickedBinge you forgot Jumba and Pleakley from Lilo and Stitch. They are sidekicks to Lilo and Stich because they helped Stitch and Lillo against villains like captain Gantu and Hamsterviel. They should be in the weak area because all they got are alien laser guns and nothing else but Jumba is a inventor so he can make stuff that can help defeat the bad guys. You also forgot Pascal and Maximus from Tangled they also are sidekicks. Pascal would be in the weak area while Maximus will be higher up because he is a powerful horse and the only law enforcement that can catch Flynn Ryder because the other guards are terrible at their jobs. You also forgot Meeko and Flit from Pocahontas they should be in the weak area because they are just normal animals and so aren't really a threat because all they can do is normal animal stuff but they are crafty and so they can outsmart people and other animals especially Percy who is the dog that Ratcliffe who is the main villain of the movie owns.

I have to disagree with Olaf lack of durability. While Frozen 1 he is weak to fire/heat that seems to be the only thing that could really hurt him. He could be impaled, his body scattered, and more and Olaf would laugh it off and put himself back together again. Frozen 2 he gained permafrost thus even warm weather wasn't a danger to him. His help was lacking but for one aspect that he's a embodiment of love and hope from the two girls and when things look hopeless he doesn't give up. He assists Anna on Frozen 1 when she lost hope, again when trapped in the cave he was able to push Anna on (till he died when Elsa was temporary dead and Anna had to go one with no hope and a dreaded action she had to take yet pushed herself to do so). Then later TO US doing Covid. He's strength is hope during hopelessness. He is still on the weak side of sidekicks for anything action which I think was the overall aspect focused in this video but he's not without a healing factor defense and motivation drive.

@@BroTheHeck156 Frozen 2 Elsa gave him permafrost. So the summer couldn't hurt him. That's why when he was giving off a flurry of snowflakes did he knew that "Elsa went to far" aka probably dead and in turn he was also dying right there.

let's not forget that he could defeat a cricket just by having to sit on it and he would end up suffocating to death, there have also been humans who have died of suffocation after an avalanche because of how heavy is the snow on top of a person.

If i had to put a sidekick on this list,it would be Rowley Jefferson - From "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" (2021),and...he would probably be lower than Lumiere and Cogsworth (and Rowley is a HUMAN!) Rowley has 0 skills at fighting (making his only choice of surviving the battle would be escaping,and even then that would not be a permanent solution),he is easy to manipulate,and even tho he does get a lot of good grades (compared to his friend),he isn't the sharpest tool (even Greg in that Movie would top him off on intelligence, and he doesn't even know the difference between Limes and Lemons [Old School]) Rowley also can betray people,like in the Zoo Wee Mama scene were he did plagiarized his friend's comic,and unlike the Book or the Live Action movie,this Version of Rowley can actualy betray people (by accident or not) THE ONLY TWO THINGS going on his side is his luck and Greg (who actualy completes Rowley,since he can manipulate people [mainly Rowley], has some smarts and because he lives with Rodrick and -the devil- Manny,he does knows how to survive in a chaotic place [with certain conditions],but over all...
