Jock Lindsey - The Backstory
How did Indiana Jones’ barnstorming pilot Jock Lindsey end up in Disney Springs?
Fans of Raiders of the Lost Ark can’t forget Indy’s easygoing pilot Jock Lindsey-owner of a pet snake named Reggie-but how did Jock arrive here?
The two globetrotters stumbled on Disney Springs in 1938 while chasing down a mythology-based tip in central Florida. Attracted to the town’s natural springs and lush terrain, Jock bought some waterfront property and eventually settled down, piloting seaplane tours across the fast-growing Sunshine State.
Jock eventually built an airplane hangar, air tower and runway, and invited fellow members of The Society of Explorers and Adventurers to pay him a visit. His home base soon became a popular stopover and watering hole for world travelers and locals alike.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar was born!

I just watched Jungle Cruise in 4Dx. Best Disney experience I had all year. I have been to Disney World and Disneyland several times this year but this was the best $21 I ever spent. Water, wind, smoke. It was a 2 hour ride. Had to literally hold onto my seat entire time. Felt like Star Tours, Soarin, Bugs Life & Captain EO all combined. For everyone who can't make it to the parks but want a Disney fix - go check out this movie 🍿 🎥 in 4Dx 🙌🏽

Hibiscus is very good for you. It lowers blood pressure. The flower is dried and can be made into a tea that can be drunk hot or cold. It has a natural red color and a tart flavor. It's called Jamaica by Hispanics. Gracie is so adorable. You talk to her just like I talk to my cat, Ellie. She watches for me out the window sometimes. My husband says that when she doesn't watch out the window, she can tell the sound of our car and the chirp of our alarm from those of our hundred or so neighbors, so she knows it's me coming home. Animals are strange, furry peoples...

We saw Jungle Cruise on Friday; no spoilers... It’s a one and done... too many sub plots. Enjoyed the acting! Prompted us to watch original Pirates on Sat. Seems Disney missed a real promotional opportunity, should have sent those popcorn boats for theaters to sell with popcorn; then again maybe they’ll package them for Christmas with BluRays, that’s the only thing that might motivate me to buy it!
