Disney Studios Paris - Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin - Ride Music

This is the complete ride music playing at the Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin attraction at Toy Story Playland (Disney Studios Paris). It only can be heard while the ride is in operation, when people are entering / exiting the attraction the general area music loop is playing. This example shows how modern audio software in theme parks allow "intelligent" use of existing loudspeaker installations for multiple tasks - in this case during the load and unload phases of the carousel the speakers next to the attraction play the general background music loop. If the cast members start the ride program the general music loop fades out automatically and the ride music is broadcasted over the speakers. When the ride stops the general BGM fades back in. Automation like this is possible thanks to digital audio broadcasting networks ("cobranet" being only one example) that can be programmed to mute / duck audio signals when other sounds are triggered that are supposed to "override" them.
